A couple of Christmas cards

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I have a couple of Christmas cards to share:

This was pretty easy to make, using a handful of items
from a Christmas themed ephemera package by STAMPlorations.
I watered down some white gesso and splattered it onto
my card base for a starry sky, die cut the snowy hill and stamped
the sentiment before assembling my little scene.

I made a similar card using another item from the ephemera package,
and the same stamp set for my sentiment.
The snowy background was cut using the
I adhered everything, I colored in a drive to ground the car.

I actually made these a couple weeks ago, and just
realized I never blogged about them.
which ends tomorrow, so I better get this linked! LOL!

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day!

woodland winter

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I'm sharing a card I created using nothing
but cardstock:

It's really hard to see, because of my crack
photography skills, but I added gray smudges on
the trees to give them even more of a birch tree vibe.
I also stamped the deer die cut with a linen stamp for
more texture.

And of course, I finished the inside:

Now I have one less Christmas card to make in December. LOL!
Thanks for visiting! I hope you have a great day!

Easy peasy birthday card

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I'm sharing a quick card I made
for the current Paper Players challenge:
It's a clean and simple challenge with a flower theme.

I used an ATC for my main panel, added a thin black matte,
stamped a sentiment and that was it!

Another simple sentiment finishes the inside:

I've used products from STAMPlorations.
If you follow the blog, you'll know that the owner, Shery Russ,
has been battling a cancer diagnosis for the past year. To focus
on her health, she made the incredibly hard decision to close the
store except for a handful of bundles and the digi stamps.
She just recently received the BEST news from her
doctors! Here's a link to her blog post so you can
read it in her own words. 😍 I'm beyond excited for her!

That's all I've got for now. Thank you for visiting, and I
hope that you have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #230 - Y is for Yuck

Welcome snarky peeps!
The new challenge has started at the
Y is for YUCK!
Interpret this however you'd like. I'll admit I had no clue what
to do with the prompt, but as I was looking at the stamps
I had from Viva Las Vegas Stamps, I came across this
image that immediately reminded me of
Spanish Inquisitors. I printed out the sentiment
on my computer and this is what emerged:

I'm not really sure if that is an actual quote from the inquisitors,
but it sounded like something they'd say. LOL!

It's your turn to challenge yourself and create something
yuck-worthy and add it to the gallery at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! Need more ideas? Simply
visit the blogs of my Sisters and our reigning Queen,
Beverly, to see how they interpreted the challenge.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

Here's a cute 1st birthday card

Hello crafty friends and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
May the luck of the Irish be with you always! 💚

I'm popping in with a card I made for
one of my grand nephew's 1st birthday:

Here's the inside:

I decided to shop my stash again and use some products
by Paper Smooches. (I miss their stuff!)
The main panel needed a bit of something extra, so
I sponged a darker blue ink through a star stencil
before assembling my card.

I found a #1 sticker that fit perfectly on the onesie
to complete the front of my card.

I hope that you have a wonderful day, and if you are
celebrating St. Paddy's Day, remember,
Erin Go Braugh(less!) LOL!

Sunshine and Rainbows

 Hello and welcome!
The other day was a very exciting one for me.
I met Jules, one of my fellow design team sisters face to face
for the first time from the
We had a nice visit, getting to know each other better,
and having a good time.

(Don't mind the mess. We recently moved and we are still
trying to figure out where things go!)

Jules made quite the impression on Colby. We tried to
get him in the picture with us, but all he wanted to do
was play tug-of-war with her!

We look forward to getting together when she's in town again. 😊

Yesterday was a sunny, but another very cold day here, so
I spent some time making some bright, cheerful cards.

here's the inside:

I played with the color arrangement and created
some more cards:

and the inside:

I've had this stamp set for a few years and I think only
used it once, so it was time for it to see some ink again.
I love how you get a different look to the rainbow
simply by changing which color you start with!

Well, that's it for now. Colby is in my face telling me
he wants to go out. LOL! Thanks for visiting,
and I hope you have a great day!

Think Spring

 Hello friends and welcome!
Recently, I had some fun in my craft room
making a rainbow of background
panels using Magenta Nuance powder dyes.
I could have sworn I took a picture of them before I cut into
some of them, but no, so I took a quick picture
to show the fun panels I made:

Using the three shades of purple and some designer paper,
I made pretty coneflowers using some new dies I recently purchased:

Here's the finished inside of my card:

Since I know the recipient of this card received it,
I felt it safe to blog about her card! 😊

I just adore these coneflower dies, and will be making more
flowers with them soon!

Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #229 I is for Ink

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time for the new challenge starting at the
As those fabulously amazing sleeves on Edna suggests,
we want you to get INKY! Blending, stenciling, smooshing,
splattering. How ever you want to use your inks,
we want to see it!
I decided to so a bit of smooshing with Distress Oxides,
and created a couple panels to work from:

I came across a card that I saw, liked it a lot, so I cased it,
putting my own spin on it. (Thank you for the inspiration, Bobbi Smith!)

I didn't smoosh the flower panel, but I did sponge around
the edges with Antique Linen DI to age it a bit. I used
Small Talk stickers for the sentiment. The inside
was simply stamped with Happy Birthday to finish.
Not super snarky, but just a bit of sass. LOL!

I hope that you'll get inky with us at the
