(This post contains affiliate links, at no extra cost to you!)

Greetings and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time again for the next challenge at the
This fortnight we want to see LAYERS on your projects.
Here's what I came up with:

I was using the colors from The Paper Players #586,

ended yesterday. (Facepalm)
I let the G45 paper do all the work, well, all but the
heat embossed sentiment from one of my

I can totally see the lady in the middle saying this out the side of her
mouth to the lady wearing yellow. LOL!

I hope that you find some time to play along in our LAYERS challenge
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! For more inspiration, do check out

A Tiny Craft October ATC Challenge

Hello and welcome!
It's time for our third challenge at
As you may have guessed, the theme this month is Halloween! 👻

I created a trio of artist trading cards this time around:
\\
Here are some close ups:

I recycled some cardboard for my cards. Coated them with gesso and once dry,
painted them with a couple hues of orange paint and let dry. Next I spread embossing paste
through a jack-o-lantern stencil, then sprinkled black embossing
powder over the pattern. I let them dry overnight then heat
embossed. I thought that the orange was a bit bright so I smudged
black Staz On ink around the edges. (note: next time do this
before stenciling!) I fussy cut images from some Graphic 45
paper and adhered with foam squares. I could have added more but
I didn't want to completely cover up the jack smiles in the background. LOL!
They are pretty shiny in real life:

Now it's your turn! I hope that you find some time to play along in our
Halloween challenge at A Tiny Craft ATC Challenge!
We'd love to see what you come up with.
Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #179 Q is for Queen

Hello snarky peeps and welcome to another fun challenge at the

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS!

This fortnight is brought to you by the letter Q:

Q for QUEEN!

Here's my take on the subject:

Queen Eunice here looks like she just finished kicking ass and

taking names! LOL! She's colored up with Spectrum Noir markers.

I purposely chose purples, (for royalty!), to color and in

the papers I used. The points of her crown and earrings received

some gold Stickles, her specs some Liquid Glass, and the crown

itself was Winked by Stella:

There are many ways to interpret this, as you will see when you visit the

blogs of my Sisters and our reigning Queen, Tinstar! I hope

that you find some time to play along in our Queen challenge at the

Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a fun day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #144 G is for Gross

Hello snarky peeps!
The new challenge has started at the
G is for GROSS!
I fully embraced the theme, being the sick demented person that I am,
and created this beauty:

and the inside:

My image is courtesy of the recently back up and running Twistoon Digi Stamps,
(A.K.A. Bloobel Digi Stamps). I was delighted to see her back, as
this was the image I wanted to use for this challenge. By some miracle,
the store reopened right when I figured out what I wanted to use!
The dude is colored with Spectrum Noir markers, and the sentiment
is computer generated.

And yes, I did strategically add some Glossy Accents...

Ok, so now it's your turn to just go all out and embrace all that is gross!
We'd love to see how you interpret this in the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers
gallery. Looking for more ideas? Do check out what my Sistahs, and our
newest Queen and GD, Helen have created to gross you out! LOL!
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #401 - Base it off a Book

Hello crafty friends and welcome!
We have a fun new challenge at
SHOPPING OUR STASH this fortnight:
Base it off a Book!
For my card, I chose The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
by L. Frank Baum:

and the inside:

I love it when the designer paper you pick does all the work for you!
All I did was some fussy cutting, and then added red glitter embossing powder to
Dorothy's shoes. They really do sparkle in real life. ☺

I always loved this book, and the friendship between the four main characters,
so I stamped the simple message for the inside sentiment.

Now it's your turn! We hope that you find some time to play along
in our Based off a Book challenge at Shopping Our Stash! Looking for
more ideas? Simply check out what my teammates created for
your viewing pleasure. Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #400!! - Christmas In July

Hello and happy Tuesday to you!
It's time for a new challenge at
We are celebrating our 400th challenge!
Woo Hoo!
And how are we celebrating? By having a
Christmas in July challenge. HA!!
Also, since we are in a festive mood, some of the design team
will be offering blog candy on their own blogs to a lucky commenter, myself included.
My offering is a brand new 24pc set of Derwent
 Inktense Blocks!
(I ordered a set last year, was sent two sets but only charged for one.
Their mishap is your possible gain!)

So onto my card. I shopped my hoarded Christmas stash and finally used
the last ornament stickers from a package. Yay!

and the inside:

I used traditional colors paired with an old world look for this one.
But then, I decided to make another card:

and the inside:

For this one, I decided on some fun, non-traditional colors, and used
a gift builder die as my focal image. I gave the ribbon a liberal coating of
my Wink of Stella pen, but of course, with my crack photography skillz,
you can't see it at all. LOL!

We hope that you'll help us celebrate our 400th challenge at
Shopping Our Stash and play along. For a chance at my prize offering,
simply click over on the right to follow my blog, (if you aren't already
following), and leave me a comment! The winner will be randomly chosen from
all commenters/followers.

SHOPPING OUR STASH #376 - Pink is the new Orange

Hi there and welcome back!
This week at SHOPPING OUR STASH, we are helping
to raise awareness about Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
but also getting in the mood for Halloween. So, as our
challenge title, Pink is the new Orange, suggests, we'd like to see
pink and orange on your projects. Also, because we are all about choices,
you can skip the Halloween theme and just go with a friendship card,
especially if you know of someone who was or is still fighting breast cancer.
Save the Ta-Ta's! PLEASE get a mammogram every year!

Ok, so here's my card:

Most of what I used on my card is over 3 years old, the Nuance powder dyes may just
be a year old. (I experimented in the Spring with using them on designer paper,
then never used it, until now. LOL!) My orange pumpkins are die cut from this paper.
I used another mystery scrap of DP for my pink pumpkin. This one I stamped
the face then doodled the lines and added shading with a Prismacolor pencil.
I rummaged in my Big-Bag-Of-Halloween-Supplies and found these cool spider stickers.

Ready to play along? Of course you are! Break out your pink and orange supplies
and make something fun! Be sure to link it up in the Shopping Our Stash gallery
so we can admire it! Still stumped on what to do? Simply visit the blogs of
my teammies to see how they interpreted the challenge. They made some
amazing creations which are sure to inspire you!
Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day!

Good Tuesday morning and welcome crafty friends!
Can you believe it's already SEPTEMBER?!!
WHERE did this year go?! (It went way too fast,
that's where it went!)
Since it's Tuesday, that must mean a new challenge starts
