When is a snarky sentiment not snarky?

When you can make a non-snarky card!
Hi there, and welcome.
Yes, I've used a sentiment from one of my new
and created this:

(This post contains affiliate links, at no additional cost to you!)

I even made a one layer card! Who am I!?
I started by stamping the sandcastle from the
Beach Vibes stamp set and masking it. I blended the beach, water and
sky with a few inks. After removing the mask, I colored
the sandcastle with Spectrum Noir markers. Waves were added with a
white Gelly Roll pen, the sentiment was stamped, and this
card was done!

I'm so ready to head to the beach. How about you?

Underwater birthday

 Hello and welcome!
Just popping in with a card I made for
the current AAA Birthday #35 - Under the Sea challenge:

Here's the inside:

The background was made by blending kraft and a couple blue inks onto
white card stock. I ripped some scrap paper to use as masks for where the sandy bottom
and the ocean meet. This was matted using a much-neglected wave punch, then
adhered to a pale blue card base. I stamped multiples of all the undersea critters
and foliage, colored and die cut. Once everything was glued in place,
I stamped the sentiment and another one on the inside.
I feel like it's been forever since I've colored anything, so it was
good to use my markers again. 💗

That's it for now. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a good day!

A dude card

 Hello and welcome!
I've managed to finally make a masculine card, something
of which I need more of. Why are they so hard to make?!
Anyway, here it is:

and the inside:

I've used a bunch of dies from various companies to put this together,
and I like how well it came out. I even did some clever die cutting with
the grass die to extend it to fit my slimline card. (it's an A2 sized die)

Well, that's all for today. I wish you a happy first day of Spring!
Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #206 - S is for Sister Chris *ehem* and STAMPlorations

 Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
Edna and my Sistahs have decreed that
this fortnight's challenge at the
be to celebrate the launch of

(This post contains affiliate links, at no additional cost to you!)

They've been on pre-order, but these sets, Hot Mess and Some Snark will be available
for purchase starting March 21st!

So, what's the challenge? Why, it's to make a snarky project, using, if possible, any
STAMPlorations products you may already have on hand.
Here's what I came up with:

I started by creating that background panel, blending various
Distress Oxides over the Design Blox #6 stencil, then splattered
black ink spray over it.

I die cut the panel using the largest of the
a white card stock panel from the smallest die.
Using Miss Charming from the February freebie,
I stamped the image and also one of the sentiments
from Some Snark onto the smaller panel and colored
her with Prismacolor pencils.

I adhered the panel a bit askew using foam squares
and this card was done!

So now it's your turn! Use any STAMPlorations products on your
snarky creation and be sure to link up at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! We'd love to see what you make!
Also, since you're using STAMPlorations products,
you can also link up to their Never Ending Anything Goes challenge!

A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge - Masculine

 Greetings and welcome!
The latest challenge at
and this month's theme is
MASCULINE.
Artist Trading Cards or Coins are both welcome.
I've made both:

Here are some close-ups:

On the coin, I fussy cut the pocket watch from an embossing
folder I used with gold metallic paper. I brayered black paint over the
image to make it stand out, and also swiped a black ink pad around
the edges to distress it a bit. The black matte measures 2-1/2".
For the sentiment, I used a snarky small talk sticker of Tim's.

The cards came together really easily, by using papers, stamps
and ephemera from a card kit. All that was needed was a bit
of distressing and the added brads on the last ATC.

I hope that you'll join us this month for the masculine challenge
at A Tiny Craft (ATC) challenge! For more inspiration,

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #205 - V is for Vibrant

(Edna a la Andy Warhol!)

Good morning and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time again for the next challenge at the
This fortnight, we want to see your vibrant projects!
Here's what I came up with:

Here's the inside:

I pulled a NBUS stamp and stencil set by Taylored Expressions from the
pile to make this panel. I used three of the Hero Arts neon inks along
with some brighter Memento inks for shading, I saw this stunning card
by Tina Gillespie, and along with her amazing stenciling on
corrugated paper (!), I really liked how she displayed
the sentiment, so I cased that part of her card. (Thank you!)

Whoever I send this card to, I intend to write under the inside
sentiment "Wiser? That's questionable." LOL!
I hope that you'll play along in our Vibrant challenge
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! As always, snark is optional,
but you know we love it! Need more inspiration? Simply check out
what my teammies and our reigning Queen, Granne, created for
your viewing pleasure.

Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day!

STAMPlorations stamp release day 2 - Some Snark!

 Hi there!

to introduce my new stamp line! Squeeeeeee!!!!

For a chance to win a Chris Dring Designs stamp set of your choice,
simply leave a comment here, on the Inspiration Ladies posts, and on
the STAMPlorations post. The winner will be announced on March 10th.
These are available now as pre-order now until March 15th.

Today, along with the Inspiration Team, I'm showcasing the second set, Some Snark!

On the card base, I glued a piece of a book page that I had stamped
using a leaf image from Trendy Spring Blooms. I die cut the second plate from
around the edges. I stamped, trimmed and colored the frame and telephone
images from the Gone Postal set. Once adhered with foam squares, I stamped
the sentiment from the Some Snark set, then adhered the main panel
to the card base.

*****

For my next card, I utilized a negative die cut that I held on to,
thinking it would make a cool card in the future. 😄
I taped bits of bright card stock behind it, then
stamped drink images from the Gone Postal and Beach Vibes sets.
I used another sentiment from the Some Snark set,
heat embossed in white on black card stock.
This was adhered to a black matte then onto the card base.
Nothing says multi slacking like a few tropical drinks! LOL!

Also, here again are the three cards I created with the
Some Snark set that were on Monday's post:

Don't forget to leave comments on this post, along with
the Inspiration Team's and on the STAMPlorations post for

STAMPlorations new stamp release - It's a Hot Mess!

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
Today is the start of a two-day blog hop to showcase
my brand new stamp line at STAMPlorations!

For a chance to win a Chris Dring Designs set of your choice, simply leave a comment
here, on the Inspiration Ladies posts, and on the STAMPlorations post. The winner will be
announced on March 10th.
Today we are showcasing Hot Mess!

Here are some cards I've made using this set:

This was a super easy card to create, thanks to the main panel
I selected from the Quick Cards #5 -Artsy Florals A2 Card Fronts.
I trimmed it a tad because I like the card base to show and act as
a matte at the same time. 😊 I stamped the sentiment from the
Hot Mess set on a piece of gray card, notched one end and
adhered. As a finishing touch, I added some silver sequins from the

Last week I blogged about using gilding flakes for the first time
on this post. This was another of the die cuts I used with it, and
I love how it looks! I started out by die cutting the largest die from
I sponged gray ink on opposite corners through the
Dots All Over Stencil and used another stamp from the
Hot Mess stamp set in the bottom corner.
I used gilding flakes on the solid die from the
Zen Coffee Cup Layering dies and cut the intricate layer from
black card stock. Using one of the stamps from the
Brave One stamp set, I repurposed it to use
as the steam coming from the cup!

In case you missed the STAMPlorations post on Monday, here
are the first three cards I made using this set:

All of these use ATC's from the Retro Fashionistas ATC Ephemera
and one of the border dies from Art Edges dies.

Thank you SO MUCH for visiting! Don't forget to check out what
the Inspiration Ladies have created and leave comments for a chance to
win a Chris Dring Designs stamp set of your choice!

I hope that you have a wonderful day!

A card for Ukraine

Good morning and welcome crafty friends.
Today I wanted to share a card I made
to show my support for Ukraine.
As with many people around the globe,
we are feeling helpless about what is
happening, so there is a movement that started
to show that we, as card makers, care and
show our support for the people of Ukraine. Using the colors of their flag,
I created a very simple card:

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Ukraine
in this most difficult time.

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp - Messages for Everyday
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black
CS: Neenah; Coredinations
Accessories: GC; Poppystamps - Heart String die; MISTI
