SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #276 X is for Xmas in July

Hello snarky friends and Happy July 4th to those
who celebrate! (Although with how this current
administration is destroying the country, I
sure don't feel like celebrating all that much. 😦)
Anyhoo, it's time for the July challenge at the
This month, it is Christmas in July!
Here's what I came up with:

My card design is based off of the now ended
Freshly Made Sketch #741. These sweet little mice
are colored with Spectrum Noir markers and popped up
on foam squares for a bit of dimension.

No snark this time, I just couldn't do that to
these wee cuties. LOL!
Here's the finished inside:

I hope that you find some time this month to
play along in the Christmas in July challenge at the
inspiration, please do check out what my teammies and
our reigning Queen, Joanne, have made to wow you.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #274 G is for Gnome

Hello and welcome, snarky peeps!
It's time for the new challenge at the
This month, we'd like to see a gnome or gnomes on your projects.
I dug through my arsenal of stamps and found a set that
I only used once. I had only colored up one of the
cute images in it, so I came up with this little gem.
You know, since it's almost that time of year!
(IYKYK!)

OB1 is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
I found some star themed paper for my background.
The sentiment came with the stamp set, and I LOVE it!

And the message...?

I hope that you find some time this month to play along in our

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #271 B is for Black Black Heart

Hello and welcome snarky peeps! It's time for
the next challenge at the
which is Black Black Heart!
If you are like the Sisterhood, and are soooo over
Valentine's Day, then this is the challenge for you!
We would like to see hearts or black featured on your projects,
Perhaps even something anti-Valentine's! Of course,
you can go the traditional route, but you may be mocked. LOL!
Here's what I came up with:

Once again, I've defiled a perfectly pretty die set with
a snarky sentiment. Digging in my NBUS pile,
I uncovered these tulip/bouquet dies and
immediately Miley Cyrus' song, Flowers, jumped
into my head. I just printed out the sentiment
and glued it all onto a black card base with a
black postage stamp panel. Easy peasy!
I even unearthed some ancient heart shaped
rhinestones in my stash. Bonus!

Now it's your turn! I hope that you find some time this month
to play along with our Black Black Heart challenge at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! If you're looking for more
ideas, simply visit my sister's blogs and our reigning Queen,
Bonnie, to see the amazing projects they made!
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a terrific day!

Have a seed-sational Birthday!

 Hello and welcome!
In an attempt at ignoring the
winter storm that will hit us tomorrow,
I've created yet another bird card.
(I'm doing my part to manifest Spring!)

I purchased this stamp and die set last year when it was
released in April...and am only now using it.
(I'm sure I'm not the only one who buys crafty stuff
but takes forever to use them. Right?
Anyone? *Crickets chirping*)
Anyway, my card is loosely based off the current
Freshly Made Sketches #720. (The smaller circle element
being the two flying birds) The branch was added because, well,
I needed it to hang the birdfeeder. 😄

I'll add this to the NBUS #82 challenge since I
just cracked the packaging open on the stamp set.

That's it for now. Back to making birthday cards. LOL!
Thanks for visiting. Please stay safe, especially if you're
in the path of this winter storm!

Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black
DP: Lawn Fawn - Let It Shine Starry Skies

Happy Bird-day to you

 Hello there and welcome!
It's been a bit since I've blogged. I recently
took a trip home to Illinois to visit
family and now I'm back ready to
get creating again. (It snowed there. A few times. I shoveled.
I'm not a fan.) 😜
Here's a card I made using

Admittedly, I swapped the bird and rhinestone placements
because of the direction the bird was looking, but both
elements in the sketch are there.

Another simple sentiment finishes the inside:

I'm not sure about all that pink, but it's starting to grow
on me. LOL!

Thanks for visiting. I hope you
have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #266 F is for Finally Fall

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
Isn't this graphic by Sister Lee absolutely amazing?!!!
It's time for another fun challenge at the
This month, we'd like to see your Fall themed projects!
Here's what I came up with:

No snark this time, but I did add a punny sentiment. 😁
I tried that technique that I keep seeing on Simon Says Stamp,
where you blend color on the debossed side of cardstock embossed
with an embossing folder, then swipe a black ink pad over the whole
panel to fill in the background.
This is what it looked like before swiping the black ink pad over it:

That adorable mouse was hard to see with the busy background,
so I used a strip of the same green cardstock as my card base,
and embossed it (debossed?), lining it up with the colored panel
to keep the design flowing. Make sense?

Another sentiment finishes the inside:

I hope that you find some time this month to play along in
our Fall challenge at the

Let's Shell-abrate!

 Hello and welcome!
I'm still plugging away trying to
use my new (or new to me)
stash of crafty goodies.
(Buying craft supplies and using them are two different things.)
This card combines items from
a bunch of different companies:

The stencil, sand dollar/seahorse dies, and sentiment are all new
items. I masked around the different shells to blend
different inks for different shells. Time consuming, but
I love how it looks! For the seahorse and sand dollars,
I blended the same inks onto the same cardstock, (a beige
color, because it looks like sand! LOL!) I die cut,
then left the die cut pieces in the die to blend in the darker
colors. This reminds me of looking for shells at
my favorite happy place, Topsail Island, NC.
We just came back from a little mini vacation there,
and I'm ready to go back!

Paper Players #749 has a By the Water challenge going on, so
I'm linking up there. My card is based off the current

This month, since most of the country, if not
the world, has recently reached the 7th level of Hades,
we'd like to see your Summer themed projects!
Here's my take:

Once again, I saw a meme online and immediately knew
that I had to use it on my card. LOL!

After I had made my card, I thought it needed some
faux water droplets on the veggies, so I dotted them
with some Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Happy little veggies! 😊

Have a fangtastic day!

 Hello friends and welcome!
This is my second post today. A rarity!
I've opened up a brand-new stamp set
(that I purchased at least two years ago *cough*)
for the first time and created this card:

These bats are just too cute! I've colored them with Spectrum Noir
markers, and die cut a simple circle in yellow cardstock for
my moon. The sentiment was white heat embossed on the same
dark blue cardstock as the base.

Here's the inside:

This could have easily been a card for someone
who has a birthday in October simply by changing
up the inside sentiment. My design is based on
the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
Also, Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge has an Anything Goes challenge.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
