You Rock

 Hello and welcome friends!
As I mentioned on this post, I needed to create
another card using the other drum set I die cut.
Ta-Da! Here it is:

For some reason, I felt compelled to use orange on this card.
Gotta say, I'm digging it! LOL!

Since I still had the stamp out, I used the same one on the inside:

I'm happy to have yet another dude card ready. 😊
Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your day!

Cactus birthday wishes

 Hi there and welcome!
I'm back with another card that
I made this week:

I combined a couple challenges for this card, and I love
how it came out! Shades of coral and teal paired
with this fun sketch!

A simple sentiment finishes the inside:

Well, back to work. My birthday card stash is, as always,
seriously depleted. Got to make some more! LOL!

Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your day!

Hope your day rocks

 Hello and welcome friends!
I've been rather MIA lately.
Between a vacation, yard work, getting my veggie
garden going, planting flowers, and mostly
just not having any desire to craft,
it's been rather a ghost town here on my blog.
Well, I finally discovered some crafty mojo this
week, and here's one of the cards I made:

This drum set die was picked out of my NBUS pile. I purchased it earlier
this year, and as usual, I'm only getting around to using it now.
It's cut from both gold and silver mirror paper.
The idea for the background was to make a dark stage with
stage lights pointing down on the drums.
You get it, right??
I used a Tim Holtz rays stencil with Mustard Seed DOX sponged
onto the black panel. I then matted that with more gold mirror paper.
The sentiment is heat embossed in silver.
Mirror paper is SOOOO hard to photograph!

Another sentiment finishes the inside:

Yay, I have another dude card made! Now I just have to
make another card with the other drum set. 😊😊

That's it for now. Thank you for taking time to visit.
It's much appreciated!
Have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #250 - O is for Outdoors

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
Isn't this graphic absolutely amazing?! Cudos to Sister Lee
for yet another outstanding creation!

This month at the
we'd like to see your outdoor-sy creations.
Here's what I came up with:

I came across this video by Gina K and Jennifer McGuire
creating different techniques using embossing folders.
I liked it so much I created the above panel.
I may have also made 5 more:

I've been challenging myself to use items from my
NBUS stash. These lure dies are so fun to
piece together, and the color combos are endless.
I was going to use actual fishing line to tie the lures,
but it wouldn't have showed up as well, so silver
floss was used instead. Here's a glimpse into my
madness: I Googled how to tie the fishing line
and these are legit tied correctly. 😜
Another sentiment finishes the inside:

I hope that you'll play along this month in our Outdoors challenge
For more inspiration, please do check out what my Sisters, and
our reigning Queen, Cornelia, have created for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
