Let's Celebrate

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I'm still trying to make a dent in my NBUS pile.
This time, I've finally opened up a paper collection
that I bought a couple years ago from Photo Scraps store. Sadly,
they closed their brick-and-mortar store, but Tracy still has an
online shop that you can order custom papers from!  I cut into
one of the 12" x 12" papers for this card:

The heartbeat lines with the word 'wine' in it just cracks me up!

Here's the inside:

I've used the current sketch at Atlantic Hearts for my card,
and since I've finally cut into some new paper, I'll enter
this at Seize the Birthday also.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you have a great day!

Another year older?

 Hello friends and welcome!
I've been doing some organizing in my
craft room the last week or so.
Rearranging, dusting (cough!),
and putting things away.
I recently ordered some paper trays for my
cardstock, and now it's all neatly stored
in rainbow order. I just took the time
to assign and label blenders for my inks,
and they are now stored in rainbow order too.
So nerdy, but oh so satisfying!
Anyway, onto the card I'd like to show you:

Mixing old and new items again. The sentiment is an older
sentiment builder set and the crocodile is from
Paper Smooches. The new item is the fern background stamp,
fresh out of it's packaging finally.

The punch line is on the inside,
which was computer generated then printed out:

Since this card is rather clean and simple for me, I'm entering

I hope your day rocks

Hello and welcome crafty friends! It's been a while since I've blogged about anything. The Christmas rush to get my cards made and sent out was even more hectic because I flew home for 10 days this month. On top of that, I decided to paint a bunch of mandala dotted ornaments to give away as gifts. (That will be an upcoming blog post) I hope that your holidays were as fun filled as mine was! It's been almost 10 years since I was back home for Christmas and it was so fun to see my family, including my newest grandnephew, Henry, who decided to make his debut a couple weeks early!

Well, onto why I'm here. After cleaning up the craftnado that went through my craft room before the holidays, I created this card with a new-to-me die set mixed with older stamps:

Not sure if the millennials out there will understand what this is, but I know my fellow Gen Xers will!

Here's the inside:

I chose to use blue and purple so that I could enter this at the current Color Hues challenge. Since
that cassette tape die has 6 different dies layered together, I'm also entering this at AAA Birthday #68,
and for the birthday challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest post. I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
This month's challenge at the

Here's what I created:

I stenciled the background, it's a set of four, and
I thought, this panel needs a dinosaur. LOL!
I added a snarky sentiment and there ya go!

Everything just paired so well together. 😆
The inside is finished with a simple sentiment:

I hope you find time this month to play along in our Critters challenge

You Rock

 Hello and welcome friends!
As I mentioned on this post, I needed to create
another card using the other drum set I die cut.
Ta-Da! Here it is:

For some reason, I felt compelled to use orange on this card.
Gotta say, I'm digging it! LOL!

Since I still had the stamp out, I used the same one on the inside:

I'm happy to have yet another dude card ready. 😊
Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your day!

Hope your day rocks

 Hello and welcome friends!
I've been rather MIA lately.
Between a vacation, yard work, getting my veggie
garden going, planting flowers, and mostly
just not having any desire to craft,
it's been rather a ghost town here on my blog.
Well, I finally discovered some crafty mojo this
week, and here's one of the cards I made:

This drum set die was picked out of my NBUS pile. I purchased it earlier
this year, and as usual, I'm only getting around to using it now.
It's cut from both gold and silver mirror paper.
The idea for the background was to make a dark stage with
stage lights pointing down on the drums.
You get it, right??
I used a Tim Holtz rays stencil with Mustard Seed DOX sponged
onto the black panel. I then matted that with more gold mirror paper.
The sentiment is heat embossed in silver.
Mirror paper is SOOOO hard to photograph!

Another sentiment finishes the inside:

Yay, I have another dude card made! Now I just have to
make another card with the other drum set. 😊😊

That's it for now. Thank you for taking time to visit.
It's much appreciated!
Have a great day!

Beary HB Wishes

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
Happy Friday and happy first day of March.
Bring on Spring!!
(Of course, we had sleet mixed with some snow this morning. Sigh.)
To combat the winter blues, here's a
cute critter card:

Love this new bear image stamp! So cute! The sentiment
probably took longest to stamp, as I "Frankensteined" three
different stamps together to create it.

Here's the finished inside:

It's been a minute since I've made a slimline card. I really
should make more of this size. 😊
That's it for this post, but I'll be back in a bit
with another one soon.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

I moose wish you a Happy Birthday!

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I'm back with a cute card that features
this adorable moose:

Squeeee! Just look at how cute he is!!!

He's colored with Spectrum Noir markers, and I used cardstock and some
green/blue papers from an older paper collection to die cut the
grass and one of the trees.
A simple sentiment on the inside finishes my card.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting! I hope you have
a great rest of your day.

Peace

 Good morning and welcome!
My goal is to make more Christmas cards throughout
the year, so I've created this pretty one:

Very white on white, sparkly goodness.
(Although the white glittery cardstock used on the three panels
looks more gray than white. Who knew that there were sooo
many different shades of white cardstock?)

You'd think stamping the one-word sentiment would have been
a piece of cake, but no. I found out that my silver ink pad was
dried up. I stamped it in platinum ink, but it had more of a golden
tint than silver. So I stamped over it in gray ink. Much better.
Then, I was afraid it would smudge, so I stamped over it again
in versamark and clear heat embossed it.
(over thinking much?)
Another sentiment finishes the inside:

That's one more holiday card in the books. Yay!
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a relaxing day!
