Creepy, kooky, freaky, spooky

Hello and welcome!
It's been some time since I've posted anything.
Lots happening this month. First, I got the
worst case of food poisoning I've ever had.
It took 1-1/2 weeks to finally get over it,
with a trip to Urgent Care thrown in.
Then we drove home to visit family in Illinois
and Wisconsin for a couple weeks.
Now we are home and I'm back to making cards.
For this card, I used an image that I colored when
we were up in Wisconsin visiting my MIL.

I brought a bunch of images to color with my
Prisma Color pencils. The pencils are much easier
to haul cross country than my markers.
(But I do often haul the markers. I was just lazy)

To make the clear bottle pop more, I did use a
Spectrum Noir marker (LG1) to color the background.
The sentiment is from Tim Holtz's Small Talk Occasions
sticker pad. A stamped sentiment finishes the inside.

I'd like to enter this at the Paper Players #757 challenge.

Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #206 - S is for Sister Chris *ehem* and STAMPlorations

 Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
Edna and my Sistahs have decreed that
this fortnight's challenge at the
be to celebrate the launch of

(This post contains affiliate links, at no additional cost to you!)

They've been on pre-order, but these sets, Hot Mess and Some Snark will be available
for purchase starting March 21st!

So, what's the challenge? Why, it's to make a snarky project, using, if possible, any
STAMPlorations products you may already have on hand.
Here's what I came up with:

I started by creating that background panel, blending various
Distress Oxides over the Design Blox #6 stencil, then splattered
black ink spray over it.

I die cut the panel using the largest of the
a white card stock panel from the smallest die.
Using Miss Charming from the February freebie,
I stamped the image and also one of the sentiments
from Some Snark onto the smaller panel and colored
her with Prismacolor pencils.

I adhered the panel a bit askew using foam squares
and this card was done!

So now it's your turn! Use any STAMPlorations products on your
snarky creation and be sure to link up at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! We'd love to see what you make!
Also, since you're using STAMPlorations products,
you can also link up to their Never Ending Anything Goes challenge!

created to inspire you! Thank you, my Sistahs, for shining the spotlight me! Muah!
You are all the BEST!! 😍

I hope you have a fabulous day!

STAMPlorations new stamp release - It's a Hot Mess!

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
Today is the start of a two-day blog hop to showcase
my brand new stamp line at STAMPlorations!
These are available for pre-order now until the 15th.

For a chance to win a Chris Dring Designs set of your choice, simply leave a comment
here, on the Inspiration Ladies posts, and on the STAMPlorations post. The winner will be
announced on March 10th.
Today we are showcasing Hot Mess!

Here are some cards I've made using this set:

This was a super easy card to create, thanks to the main panel
I selected from the Quick Cards #5 -Artsy Florals A2 Card Fronts.
I trimmed it a tad because I like the card base to show and act as
a matte at the same time. 😊 I stamped the sentiment from the
Hot Mess set on a piece of gray card, notched one end and
adhered. As a finishing touch, I added some silver sequins from the

Last week I blogged about using gilding flakes for the first time
on this post. This was another of the die cuts I used with it, and
I love how it looks! I started out by die cutting the largest die from
I sponged gray ink on opposite corners through the
Dots All Over Stencil and used another stamp from the
Hot Mess stamp set in the bottom corner.
I used gilding flakes on the solid die from the
Zen Coffee Cup Layering dies and cut the intricate layer from
black card stock. Using one of the stamps from the
Brave One stamp set, I repurposed it to use
as the steam coming from the cup!

In case you missed the STAMPlorations post on Monday, here
are the first three cards I made using this set:

All of these use ATC's from the Retro Fashionistas ATC Ephemera
and one of the border dies from Art Edges dies.

Thank you SO MUCH for visiting! Don't forget to check out what
the Inspiration Ladies have created and leave comments for a chance to
win a Chris Dring Designs stamp set of your choice!

I hope that you have a wonderful day!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #454 - Back to the Books

Hello and welcome, crafty friends!
We have a fun new challenge starting at SHOPPING OUR STASH:
Back to the Books!
Anything related to books, reading, or even using a page from a book
or text design paper on your projects can be used.
I decided to make a few bookmarks, upcycling some old
library checkout cards that were gifted to me by my teammate Mimi!

I stamped flower images on opposite corners, colored them with
Prismacolor pencils, sponged some ink around the edges, and added
glitter glue to the centers of some of the flowers. My neighbor
has a laminating machine and she let me use it to laminate these cards.
Added some ribbon and twine and these babies were done!

Here are some close ups:

I also stamped and colored on the back sides:

I hope that you'll join us for our Back to the Books challenge
at Shopping Our Stash! For more inspiration, please do check out
what my teammates have created to wow you!

It's Sticker Monday at STAMPlorations!

Good morning crafty friends!

Guess what? I'm doing my first Sticker Monday post over at STAMPlorations!

Each month we randomly draw a lucky commenter's name to win a $15 prize code

when they leave a comment on both the Sticker Monday posts and also

on the designer's blog.

(This post contains affiliate links. When you click on any of the STAMPlorations

store links below and place an order, I will receive a small commission at

no additional cost to you.)

I'm showcasing the Coffee Feel Good stickers for my projects.

I decided to use the same color combo for all my projects.

First up is a shaker card:

The great thing about using these stickers, is that you can cut them apart when

needed, as I've done on my shaker card. Along with the stickers, I've also used

the Dots 'n Beans stencil, Zen Coffee Cup Layering dies, and the

Mocha Swirl ShakerBlends.

*****

Here's my second card:

I created a frame around the sticker using the coffee cup-to-go image

from the Gone Postal stamp set. (You can also get this image in

digital format here.) On the card base, I stamped around the edges with one

of the images from the Mixed Media Grunge set.

*****

My third card:

Along with the same stencil and cup image already used, the background panel is

cut using a Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting die. The green

strip was cut with one of the Art Edges dies.

These are just a few ways to incorporate stickers into your projects. So, what do you think?

I'd love to hear, and look forward to reading your comments!

Thanks so much for visiting!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers are guest elves at Christmas Kickstart!

Hello friends! I'm back with a special post today!

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is Guest Elving

at Christmas Kickstart Challenge!

The prompt for the new challenge is to use the color GREEN

predominately on your card.

It's no secret that I have a bizarre sense of humor, and

so does my family. LOL! So I made this

card with them in mind:

A strange family calls for strange images. LOL!

I colored them with Prismacolor pencils using various hues of green,

along with a bit of red accents. Of course, I had to

add a snarky sentiment!

For the inside, a simple stamped sentiment finishes my card:

I hope that you'll play along in the Green Christmas challenge

Thank you, Jo, for letting the Sisterhood crash your

Christmas party! Let the shenanigans begin!

SOSS # 174 - E is for Elves

 Hello and welcome, snarky peeps!

It's time for our new challenge at the

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS!

This fortnight is brought to you by the letter E,

as in ELVES! Yep, let's see an elf or more on your projects!

Here's what I came up with:

I went through all my rubber stamps and sadly, didn't find any

elves. Whaaaa??!!! Luckily, I looked through my stash of

digital stamps, and found one I could use. I colored this

festive elf using Spectrum Noir markers and Prismacolor pencils.

The fur on his hat received a coating of white blizzard

Nuvo Glitter Drops. And of course, I found the perfect

sentiment to go with this guy. A simple sentiment

finishes the inside.

I hope that you can join us this fortnight at the

for our Elf challenge! As always, snark is not mandatory,

but you know we love it! LOL! For more ideas,

simply check out what my Sistahs and our reigning Queen, Natalie, have

created. Thanks for stopping by!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #426 KISS/CAS

Good morning and happy Tuesday to you!
There's a fun new challenge starting today at
which stands for "Keep It Simple Sister/Clean And Simple".
You know me, I like my layers, so this is about as CAS
as I can get:

This came together within 10 minutes, after first sitting at my desk for
at least an hour, trying to figure out what I should do. (some straightening
up in my craft room, and the guest bedroom, may have happened
whilst pondering this challenge. LOL!)
Luckily, I had colored this image last year and so that was my
jumping off point. A couple shades of pink card stock and a
simple sentiment, and this card was done.

I hope that you find some time in the next two weeks to link up
your CAS creations in the Shopping Our Stash gallery. We'd
love to see them! Need more ideas? Simply visit the blogs of my
teammies to see their amazing creations!
Thanks for visiting, I hope you have a great day!

Welcome crafty friends! Can you believe it's June already?!!
Time sure seems like it's flying by.
Since it's the beginning of a new month, there's a new
STAMPlorations! For my card, I was inspired by both:

Here's the inside:

(So glad I found some confetti paper in my stash so that
I didn't have to stamp those tiny bits. LOL!)

The cake image and inside sentiment are from the
Celebrate Big stamp set, and the Happy Birthday sentiment
is from the A Snarky Birthday to You stamp set. Some fun
festive papers finishes this card!

Ready to play along? Of course you are! We'd love to see
how you interpret the theme & photo at STAMPlorations!
