Have a fangtastic day!

 Hello friends and welcome!
This is my second post today. A rarity!
I've opened up a brand-new stamp set
(that I purchased at least two years ago *cough*)
for the first time and created this card:

These bats are just too cute! I've colored them with Spectrum Noir
markers, and die cut a simple circle in yellow cardstock for
my moon. The sentiment was white heat embossed on the same
dark blue cardstock as the base.

Here's the inside:

This could have easily been a card for someone
who has a birthday in October simply by changing
up the inside sentiment. My design is based on
the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
Also, Two Old Bats Halloween Challenge has an Anything Goes challenge.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #255 H is for Halloween

Hello and welcome snarky friends!
It's been a minute since I've posted anything.
To rectify that, here's my slightly late post for
the new challenge at the

As is my way, I mixed some old and new items
to create this card. I just love this cauldron die!
Another sentiment finishes the inside.

Since I had everything out, I created another card.

As I said earlier, I've been remiss in sharing cards here.
I'm making them, but just wasn't blogging about them.
Also, we just survived hurricane Helene. We live
in western North Carolina. Though we
luckily didn't get washed out from flood waters or mudslides,
we lost power for 7 days. 11 of 22 Leyland cypress trees
that lined our driveway and ran to the back of our
property came down. In our neighbor's yard.
We've been busy cutting the trees down and hauling
everything away. Ever since Helene, we've had spotty
internet connection. It's taken until today
for me to be able to post anything.
Things are getting better here, but
there's still so much needed for those
who've lost everything in the mountains.
And now, hurricane Milton gave a double
blow to Florida. It's heartbreaking.
Well, enough of me being 'Debbie Downer'.

I hope that you'll play along in our Halloween challenge

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #254 A is for Autumn

Hello and welcome!
Can you believe that it's already September!?
I swear that it was just June yesterday. 😦
Well, since it's getting to be that time of year,
this month's challenge at the
is A for Autumn. What does that mean for you?
Cooler weather? Colorful leaves? Sweater weather?
Pumpkin Spice? Let's see it!
For me, as always, Autumn means Halloween,
so of course I created a Halloween card:

The background panel was created by smooshing mixed media paper
into water spritzed Distress Inks, drying, then selectively adding more
inks with some cellophane packaging smooshed into the inks.
This was repeated until I liked the look of it. I did also
blend more black soot ink around the edges.
I spritzed some water droplets onto the panel then
blotted with a paper towel for more blotches.
Mr. Bones was stamped, fussy cut, and then I blended
Vintage Photo DI around the edges.
Lastly, I cracked open a vial of Aged Black embossing powder and
used for the first time. Holy Wow! It looks amazing IRL!
A mix of silver, black and gold. It really looks like
aged metal! Of course, it was impossible for me
to photograph, as usual. LOL!

Here's the finished inside:

Since I had all the materials out, I created a second card:

I hope that you'll join in our Autumn challenge at the

All Hallow's Eve

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I was able to make a few cards this past weekend,
since Mr. Mojo decided to return from
him unauthorized vacation.
Here's a fun Halloween card:

I've been hoarding this spooky dimensional sticker for
years. That's right, years! I finally decided to
part with it and use it on a card. The packaging
says that it's from 2009!

It's a special sticker, as it lights up!
And it still works after all these years!
(I hope you can see this short video!)

Here's the finished inside:

I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday.
Strangely, I don't make nearly as many
Halloween cards as I do for Christmas. I
should work on that. LOL!

That's all for today. Thank you so much for
visiting! Have a great rest of your day!

Hello and welcome back, snarky peeps!
It's time again for the new challenge at the
This fortnight, we want to see your WICKED projects!
Here's what I made:

...and the inside:

This is a digital image I printed out well over a year ago,
and I've only now colored her up. All the snark is on
the inside, which I printed out on my computer.

As much as I love how she came out, in hindsight, I wish I would
have stenciled some clouds in the background. Next time
I color her, I'll do that. Found some ancient but cute bat stickers
to add to the scene.
Now it's your turn to join the Sisterhood in our Wicked challenge!
For more ideas, do check out what my teammates, and our
reigning Queen, Fran, have created for your viewing pleasure.

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #188 - W is for Watercolor

Hello and welcome, snarky peeps!
It's time for the new challenge at the
This fortnight we want to see your watercolored creations!

Here's what I came up with:

and the inside:

The back panel is made by inking up the spider web embossing folder
(Taylored Expressions) with a few distress ink colors, spritzing with water
and running it through my Grand Calibur. I took Black Soot DI and
sponged around the edges before adding to my card base. The witch's hat was
heat embossed in black and colored using more distress inks and a water brush.
I used an ancient pumpkin border punch for the sentiment strip, which the
sentiment is heat embossed with jeweled gold EP. It has a nice subtle sparkle IRF.

I hope that you find some time to play along in our Watercolor challenge at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! We'd love to see what you make. Need more
ideas? Simply check out what my Sistahs, and our reigning Queen of Snark,
Deanne, have created for your viewing pleasure!
