Addicted to Stamps and More #495

 Hello and welcome friends!
I absolutely LOVE this card that
I'm about to share. It was a major
labor of love because of all
the tiny die cut pieces.
Here, check this out:

I think each flower has 7 parts and the hummingbird
has 11 parts. Even better, I started with white
die cut pieces and blended each one.

My eyesight is clearly as blurry as my pictures. LOL!
This fits the Addicted to Stamps and More #495 challenge
of die cuts and/or dies, so I'm entering this in their gallery.

Thanks for visiting. I hope that you are staying cool from this
heatwave we are experiencing!

The reason it took me so long to make this?
I made four of them!

Did I mention it was a lot of die cutting? 😉

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time for the new challenge starting at the
As those fabulously amazing sleeves on Edna suggests,
we want you to get INKY! Blending, stenciling, smooshing,
splattering. How ever you want to use your inks,
we want to see it!
I decided to so a bit of smooshing with Distress Oxides,
and created a couple panels to work from:

I came across a card that I saw, liked it a lot, so I cased it,
putting my own spin on it. (Thank you for the inspiration, Bobbi Smith!)

I didn't smoosh the flower panel, but I did sponge around
the edges with Antique Linen DI to age it a bit. I used
Small Talk stickers for the sentiment. The inside
was simply stamped with Happy Birthday to finish.
Not super snarky, but just a bit of sass. LOL!

I hope that you'll get inky with us at the

This fortnight, we want to see GLITTER on your projects!
I went the safe route and used Glitz Glitter Gel through a stencil:

Lots of NBUS (never before used stuff) on this card: that stencil,
the Let it snow die, and also that adorable snowman die. No
snark this time. This was just too cute to add snark. LOL! A
simple sentiment finishes the inside:

I hope that you'll join us in our glitter challenge at the

A TINY CRAFT (ATC) JULY CHALLENGE - Dogs or Cats

 Hello and welcome!
The new monthly challenge starts today at
This month's theme is Dogs or Cats.
Artist trading cards or coins are welcome.
Here's what I created:

I had this idea stuck in my head to use these fun Katzelkraft dog stamps
and make them look like they were standing under the mistletoe,
waiting to be kissed. LOL! Since the paper I used was very busy,
I decided to just stamp the dogs and mistletoe and leave uncolored.
I could have sworn I had some small Santa hat stickers in
my stash, but couldn't find them. I did find these fun
winter hats and antler stickers, which were even better!
I just printed out the sentiments, and colored the
paper with different Spectrum Noir markers before adhering
to my ATC's.
Here are some close ups:

These were so much fun to make! I hope that you'll
join us for our Dogs or Cats challenge this month at

Sunset scene

 Hello and welcome!
I'm popping in with a card I made over the weekend.

There's a bit of snark on the inside:

I blended various DOX inks for my sunset background, then
simply die cut the woodland oval die and the deer die in black
card stock. After adhering, I stamped the sentiment, then adhered
to a black card stock base with foam squares.
I'm digging the dramatic look of this card. 😊
Thanks for visiting! I hope that you have a great day!

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time again for the next challenge at the
we'd like to see your predominately PINK projects.
Here's what I came up with:

and the inside:

The background paper was created with a gel press, a few different
pink acrylic paints, and some bubble wrap. Some die cut flowers, pearls and
a simple sentiment to finish. I did add some Star Dust Stickles to
the center of the daisy. No snark this time, none needed!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #187 - T is for Texture

 Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time once again for the new challenge at the
This fortnight is brought to you by the letter T:
as in TEXTURE!
I dug out the only 3D embossing folder I own to make
this very pretty, non snarky card:

(Yes, Jennifer McGuire had a major influence on this! Thank you!)
I used some teal mirror paper with the EF for the background. The
solid die cut of the butterfly received a thin coating of crackle paste, the
intricate die cut was cut from black card stock then coated with White
Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops, which picked up the teal card
brilliantly IRL! I used a Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker for the sentiment.

I did manage to stamp a sentiment on the inside and added a
snippet of the teal paper to finish it off.

See? Snark isn't mandatory at the Sisterhood,
(but you know we LOVE it!)

I hope that you find some time to play along in our Texture challenge at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! For more inspiration, do check out what
my Sistahs and our reigning Queen, Tristan, have created to wow you!
