This was a labor of love, as the F U words are two separate stamps.
That I stamped repeatedly. A lot. Then to glam it up, I did a bit
of Frantage heat embossing around the edges.
Shiny!

interpreted this challenge, so do yourself a favor and

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #139 - J is for Joke

Good morning snarky peeps!
It's time for a new challenge at the
This fortnight is brought to you by the letter J,
as in JOKE!
Here's what I've come up with:

If I were completely out of my mind, I would have tried to stamp
the knight on actual tin foil and do some paper piecing, but I'm not that far gone...yet.

The background was made by first stamping the sentiment. Using a brick
embossing folder, I randomly smeared Vintage Photo DI on the inside, spritzed
with a bit of water and ran the panel through my Grand Calibur.
I tried to flatten the embossing over the stamped sentiment because it was
a bit hard to read otherwise. (Darice needs to come up with
embossing frames to use when you stamp in the corners, just sayin.)
I was going for an old castle wall look. (think Errol Flynn
as Robin Hood. That kind of old castle look. LOL!)

Ok, so now it's your turn to make us laugh with your jokes! Just link up
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers so we can see your projects!

reigning Queen Helen to see their hilarious takes.

SHOPPING OUR STASH #395 - May Flowers

Hello and welcome crafty peeps!
It's time for another challenge at
and as the subtitle suggests, we'd like to see
flowers on your projects.

Here's my offering:

and the inside:

I've mentioned in earlier posts that I spent the holiday season
coloring up a lot of images. This is one of them. I miraculously
found some card stock that matched perfectly with the purple pencils
I colored with. Score! I broke out a much neglected corner punch
to add a bit of detail to one corner. A few rhinestones for sparkle
finishes my card. I hope you find some time this
fortnight to join in our flower challenge at Shopping Our Stash!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #374 - Inspiration Quote

Hello and happy Tuesday crafty peeps!
This week Mimi is your Hostess at
and she's chosen a gorgeous quote to inspire you:

For my card, I went with an elegant silhouette and die cut frames, then
added pearls and a snarky sentiment, because, why not?!
(You'll see Donna and I had the same idea! GMTA!)

The pearls I used are Frankensteined from a Fleur de Lis made
of pearls. No, really!

Here's a close up:

So how will you interpret the inspiration quote? We'd love to see
what you create in our gallery at Shopping Our Stash! Need more ideas?

SHOPPING OUR STASH #355 - April Showers Bring May Flowers

Hi there and happy Tuesday to you!
Today starts a fun new challenge at
we want to see a flower (or flowers) on your projects!

I tried out a stencil that I won last year but this was the first time I used it:

I smooshed some Distress Inks onto my craft mat, then mixed embossing paste into the ink.
I applied the green first, then the pink. Once I had covered the stencil, I carefully swiped the
excess paste off, making sure to blend the green into the pink. When you lift up the stencil,
you have a subtle blending of the colors.

I left it to dry overnight, then simply matted it with a scrap of green DP, heat embossed
the sentiment, adhered it all on my card base, and added some sequins for
a bit of extra bling.

I hope that you get a chance to play along with our flower challenge
at Shopping Our Stash! We look forward to seeing what you come up with!
For more ideas, do check out the fabulous creations by my teammies, and
leave them some bloggy love while there.
Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #110 - I is for Inky

Hello and happy Saturday, snarky peeps!
Looks like Edna had a bit of fun with her reinkers! LOL!
Which brings us to our new challenge at the
I is for Inky!
Let's see what you can do with your inks, be it stamping, sponging, using as
water color, whatever you can dream up.
I broke out some inks, stencils and stamps for my card:

I sponged green ink through a stencil on my card base, on the blue panel I stamped
the tweed pattern. On the main panel I sponged the same green ink on white card stock then
used another stencil to add the blue dots. All that was left was to add my sentiment
and a border stamp.

I hope that you'll join the inky fun at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
For for inky ideas, do check out what my Sisters and our newest Guest Designer,
Mimi, have created for your viewing pleasure.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #351 - Mythical and Magical

Happy Tuesday and welcome!
This week, we have another fun challenge starting today at
It's all about mythical and magical creatures!
Let's see those faeries, gnomes, dragons, unicorns, etc!

 Here's my card:

and the inside:

Using another background panel I made a year, maybe two years ago.
It's really hard to see, as 1) it's very light and 2) my crack photography
skillz suck. I smooshed some inks directly onto an embossing folder,
spritzed with water, and covered it with some water color paper. You
can kind of see the pattern if you squint your eyes and look sideways at it. LOL!

Layered some die cuts, stamped (at least 6 times) with my MISTI to get
good coverage, (still had to dot here and there with a black marker to fill
in white spots. The trials and tribulations of stamping on water color paper.)
The faerie wings were winked, then I added some rhinestones
for a bit more sparkle.

I hope you find some time this week to play along at our challenge at
Shopping Our Stash! We'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a magical day!

SHOPPING OUR STASH #339 - He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not: Part 2!

Hello crafty friends!
I'm popping in with part 2
of my Valentine's Day cards
for the new challenge that started today at

You can see my first card here.
Since I had the leftover pieces from die cutting,
I whipped up another card,
but, not so lovey dovey this time.
Perhaps even a bit disturbing...

and to continue the snark on the inside:

Ugh, don't you hate it when you use your MISTI to stamp, and you
STILL wind up stamping crooked?! Oh well, I'm just going to
own it and say I totally meant to do that! LOL!

I just received that chloroform stamp as part of my winnings at VLVS.
I thought it went perfectly with the stamp from So Suzy Stamps.!

I just looked back at what I posted for January, and I've only really used
snark once at the very beginning of the month.
I had to fix that!!
LOL!

I hope that you'll join us this week at Shopping Our Stash
for our Valentine's Day challenge!

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
