STAMPlorations Perfect Pairs: Classic Christmas + plus!

Hello there! I'm back with a couple more cards using
coordinating Ephemera Cuts from STAMPlorations!

This time, I've added more to my cards to kick them up a notch. 😁
A scrap of holiday paper on one edge, repeat stamping of the
definition stamp, and one of the images from the Ephemera Cuts
still makes for a quick card.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment stamp to finish.

For my second card, I took a piece of kraft paper, glued a strip of
patterned paper on the diagonal, die cut it using one of the
Crazy Double Running Stitch rectangle dies, then die cut it
again using the Circles All Over Texture plate. I added the
Nutcracker in the Ephemera Cuts package with foam squares.
Part of the sentiment was masked off and heat embossed
 in white embossing powder.

If you make quick cards, or like to throw on all the things, the
Perfect Pairs series is entirely capable of doing both! Check
out all four sets at the STAMPlorations store.
If you are in the mood to shop, you can use my discount code

STAMPlorations Perfect Pairs: Classic Christmas

 Hello friends and welcome!
I'm back to showcase another stamp set in the
Perfect Pairs series at STAMPlorations! These are designed
to be able to create quick cards using just a few items.
All sets also have coordinating Ephemera Cuts available
to use with the stamps!
Here is my first card using Classic Christmas.

I started by stamping the definition stamp over my card
base in gold ink, then the sentiment stamp in black.
All I added was the gorgeous lantern image from
the Ephemera Cuts package to finish!

For my second card, I knew I wanted to use embossing powder
around the edges of the panel, but didn't have the
right color to match the mercury ornaments.
So of course, I mixed silver and gold powders to
make my own.

Side story: I had been storing my embossing powders in
Chinese food containers for years. (upcycling!)
When I opened the one containing the silver powder, it
disintegrated all over my desk and myself. Who knew that
the plastic containers would become so brittle that they explode! 😆
I've since bought some glass jars with metal lids to store
my embossing powder in.
I heat embossed the sentiment, then decided I needed to
sprinkle more powder randomly over the card and heat
from underneath before adding the ornaments. I love how this turned out!

Look at all that shiny goodness!

This is just one of four new sets available at the
STAMPlorations store, and the Ephemera Cuts are
all so beautiful to use with them! If you are ordering
from the store, feel free to use my discount code:

Hello snarky friends and Happy July 4th to those

these wee cuties. LOL!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #269 C is for Cheeky Christmas

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time for one of our most favorite challenges at the

CHEEKY CHRISTMAS!

That's right, time to see those raunchy, racy holiday projects!
(Or for the faint of heart, perhaps just a snarkier project. LOL!)
Here's what I made:

Yes, I did find a meme (again) as inspiration for this card.
I can't help it; there's some outstanding ones floating around
all the time! I started by unearthing an ancient stamp that
is wood block mounted, stamped and colored up with
Spectrum Noir markers. To make it more festive, I printed out
a couple of free clip art Santa hats. Again colored, fussy cut and
glued to the ladies' heads. My sentiment is also
computer generated. I used a white Posca marker to add the
'special words' onto the ladies' tops. I finished with gold Stickles
for their earrings, bracelets and belt buckles.

Another stamped sentiment finishes the inside:

I hope that you'll play along with our Cheeky Christmas
challenge at the

Time to get it started

 Hello and welcome!
I'm sharing the second Christmas card
I've made so far this year.
Gulp. Better get going on those now. LOL!

I went riffling through my Christmas stash and rediscovered
this cute, quirky reindeer. I colored him up with Copic markers
then blended Vintage Photo DI around the edge of
the oval, the back panel and sentiment strip.

Another simple sentiment finishes the inside.

Jingle Belles has a sketch challenge that's just about
ended, so I'm squeaking in at the last minute to enter that.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #258 - N is for NBUS (Never Been Used Stuff)

Hello and Happy New Year to you!
I hope that your holidays were fun filled and that you
received some new crafty goodies to play with.

That brings us to our new challenge at the
N is for NBUS (Never Been Used Stuff)
If your new crafty goodies are brand
spanking new, or perhaps something you've had sitting
on the "new to me and needs to be used" pile,
(You know we all have that pile!),
we want to see what you make with it.

I bought this card kit from Simon Says Stamp last
month, and here is the card I made with it:

This card is deceptively easy looking. The angel and rejoice sentiment
were heat embossed in gold and die cut. I used a sun ray embossing
folder on the back panel, then used a gold Sharpie marker to edge
around it. The image and sentiment were then adhered with
foam squares.

Here's the finished inside:

I actually made about 24 cards, using all three of the angel images:

I hope that you find some time this month to play along in our NBUS challenge
Need more inspiration? Simply visit the blogs of my sisters and our
newest Queen, Fran, to see what new goodies they created with!
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

I'm sharing yet another Christmas card:

This was a rather quick card for me to make, sort of.
I die cut the main panel from a stitched rectangle die, then
gold heat embossed the sentiment and image onto it
before adhering with foam squares onto the card base.

Another sentiment finishes the inside:
