SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #177 - G is for Glitter

Happy Saturday, snarky peeps!

The SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS

is back with their next challenge: G is for GLITTER!

Be it the get-everywhere-and-stay-forever kind, some

version of glitter glue, or perhaps glitter paper,

we want to see what you make with it!

I played it safe and used some glitter paper:

As a card maker, I'm not really big on Valentine cards. (gasp!)

But, I get around it by adding a snarky sentiment. LOL!

I hope that you get the chance to link up to our glitter challenge

at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

reigning Queen, Michelle, have come up with.

SHOPPING OUR STASH #437 - I Need a Cup of Coffee....

....or in my case, a cup of tea. 😄

Which happens to be the new challenge prompt at

SHOPPING OUR STASH!

Lets see your coffee or tea themed projects!

Here's what I came up with:

Over the holiday break, I did some cleaning up and re-organizing in my

a sentiment that was inked for the first time.

I hope that you find some time to join in our coffee/tea

themed challenge at Shopping Our Stash!

teammies have created! Thanks for visiting.

Have a wonderful day!

Joyful jingle-y wishes

Hello and happy Sunday, crafty friends!

Today I'm sharing the first Christmas card I've made so far in 2021,

and it's also of the ever popular slimline variety:

and the inside:

The red paper squares are cut 2" x 2" then corner rounded. I found a

scalloped die set in my stash that had one just slightly larger for my matte.

Bonus! The bells are die cut using this really cool brushed silver paper, but

with my crack photography skillz it just comes out looking gray. LOL!

I was even able to incorporate some previously cut pine needles, so

yay me for using something in the UFO bin! (UnFinished Objects)

That's all for now. I hope that you have a relaxing

rest of your day. Thanks for visiting!

January Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge reminder

 Hello and welcome!

Just popping in with a reminder about the

January STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge!

I challenged myself to use stamps in an unusual way, which

made me come up with a wrapped candy background panel:

[This post contains affiliate links. When you click on the STAMPlorations store link below and place an order,
I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.]

I used two images from the Art Marks 2

stamp set to make my wrapped candy, filling in the panel with some

smaller images from the same set and also from the

Balloons and Banners stamp set. This panel was die cut using the

Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting dies.

I did some creative masking with some of the words from the Sweet Cravings

stamp set to make my sentiment.

There's still plenty of time to link up your project at STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt

Challenge. If you happen to shop the STAMPlorations Store,

a 20% discount and a freebie of your choice:

Snowy Yappy Birthday

Hiya! I'm back with another post today!

A two-for!

And the inside:

I used a much loved embossing folder, Darice Snowflake Background, on some
blue card stock then lightly sanded the design to make them show up more.
Then added some Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops in the centers of them
for some sparkle. While that dried, I stamped, colored and die cut that
absolutely adorable wee doggy (NBUS!). Stamped the sentiment and once everything
was dried, assembled my scene.

Ok, I'm done for real. Thanks for visiting, and I hope

that you have a relaxing evening.

Don't like making them, but we do need them...

 ...Sympathy cards, that is.

Hello crafty friends, and welcome.

I have a pretty (I think), card to share:

Here's the inside:

Tried out a new to me stencil, the Christmas Wreaths
by Sanna Lippert Designs, using a gray and a red ink.
Over the berries, I used two different shades of red glitter glue.
(of course, it's impossible to see with my crack photography skillz.)

I die cut three times, stacked and glued the With Sympathy
word die together and adhered on the inside of the wreath.

Pretty simple design, but I love how it looks.

than I thought it would. LOL!

I hope that you find some time this fortnight to play along in our ATC

SHOPPING OUR STASH #436 - What's New With You?

Happy New Year!

That's right, it's a brand new year and

so it's time for the first challenge at

SHOPPING OUR STASH!

For our first challenge, we want to see what you make using

your new craft goodies. For real!

Break out your new stash that you either got as a gift, or perhaps

something you bought last year and still haven't used it yet.

Of course, mixing in some older items with the new would be awesome!

Here's what I came up with:

...and the inside:

I actually didn't get any crafty goodies for Christmas, but I did perhaps

purchase some things over this past year, many of which I've never

used before. Like this cute doggie stamp and die set, for example.

I tried my hand at embossing the die instead of cutting it out. That's a fun

technique I'll be trying more of in future.

I hope that you play along this fortnight in the What's New challenge

at Shopping Our Stash!

  Thanks for visiting!

It's time for STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge!

 Hello and Happy New Year!!

Finally!

Here's hoping that 2021 will bring better days.

Well, it's a new year, and a new month, and that means it's time for

the January STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge!

Use the theme, or the photo, or both. Your choice. I used both

for my card:

[This post contains affiliate links. When you click on the STAMPlorations store link below and place an order, I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.]

Here's the inside:

I started with the background panel, using the Confetti #1 slimline stencil

and pulled colors from the photo, and look at that, the confetti

in the photo goes perfectly with that stencil!

Using images from the Sweet Cravings stamp set,

I stamped, colored and fussy cut a few of them.

I stamped some of the sentiments onto purple card stock, fussy cut,

and adhered all with foam squares. The inside sentiment is a sticker

from the Birthday Word Art clear sticker pack.

I hope that you find some time this month to play along at the

January STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt challenge.
