SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #249 F is for Fold It (Fancy Fold)

Hello and welcome!
It's time again for a new challenge at the
This month, we'd like to see your FANCY FOLD creations!
I tried making a shutter card for the first time:

Wow, this was definitely a labor of love. I bought this shutter card die
set a few years ago from Crafter's Companion,
and it's the first time using it. Lots of die cutting, coloring, and gluing
later, and this is how it turned out!

I hope that you'll find time this month to play along in our fancy fold
challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! If you need more
ideas, do yourself a favor and check out what my sisters,
and our reigning Queen, Fran, have created.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

A Springy Happy Birthday

 Hello crafty peeps and welcome!
Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything.
My husband gave me a series of books
for Christmas, and I've only started reading them
the end of February. They are so good, I can't put them down!
(The Cormoran Strike series of books by Robert Galbraith,
a.k.a J.K. Rowling)
But, I have made myself get into the craft room and
do some more card making. I've used a NBUS stamp/stencil combo
that I've had for a couple months now. Thought it
was time to break it in. LOL!

The stamp is actually the negative areas, and the stencils
are for the leaves, berries, and centers of the daisy flowers.
It's rather brilliant, and the color combos are endless!
Both the outside and inside sentiments are also NBUS,
(Never Before Used Stuff)
I die cut a few daisy flowers and colored in the centers to match
the background, and used foam squares to adhere them
and the sentiment on the front.

Here is the finished inside:

I laughed out loud when I first read this, because
it's starting to happen to me. LOL!

That's it for now. I hope that you have a wonderful day.
Thanks for visiting!
