A Tiny Craft (ATC) August Challenge - An Ode to Lindsey

 Hello and welcome friends!
As you may have already heard, the crafting community lost a
creative soul the end of last month. Our very own
Lindsey, lost her courageous battle with cancer.
In honor of our friend and teammate, we at
visit Lindsey's blog and create an Artist Trading Card or Coin,
inspired by a project that Lindsey made.

When looking back over her blog, I immediately knew that
I was going to CASE these artist trading cards that she made back
in February. Here is a photo of Lindsey's ATC's:

Here are the ATC's I created:

I had this cactus plant stamp set that was the perfect size for my ATC's.
Lindsey had a die that she cut the notebook page from, using watercolor paper.
She then water colored her images. I used a border punch then used a stitched border die
along the edge. I stamped and colored the images with my Spectrum Noir markers,
then die cut them and adhered with foam squares.
I shopped my stash for various bling to finish the cards.
Lindsey was a master at the CAS style (clean and simple), so this was
kind of hard for me to recreate, as I love to throw almost
everything but the kitchen sink onto my projects.

Here are some close ups:

I do hope that you find some time to peruse Lindsey's blog
and create something that was inspired by one for her
amazing projects. We'd love to see what you create

Thank you for visiting. I hope that you have a good day.

A TINY CRAFT (ATC) JULY CHALLENGE - Dogs or Cats

 Hello and welcome!
The new monthly challenge starts today at
This month's theme is Dogs or Cats.
Artist trading cards or coins are welcome.
Here's what I created:

I had this idea stuck in my head to use these fun Katzelkraft dog stamps
and make them look like they were standing under the mistletoe,
waiting to be kissed. LOL! Since the paper I used was very busy,
I decided to just stamp the dogs and mistletoe and leave uncolored.
I could have sworn I had some small Santa hat stickers in
my stash, but couldn't find them. I did find these fun
winter hats and antler stickers, which were even better!
I just printed out the sentiments, and colored the
paper with different Spectrum Noir markers before adhering
to my ATC's.
Here are some close ups:

These were so much fun to make! I hope that you'll
join us for our Dogs or Cats challenge this month at

A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge - Masculine

 Greetings and welcome!
The latest challenge at
and this month's theme is
MASCULINE.
Artist Trading Cards or Coins are both welcome.
I've made both:

Here are some close-ups:

On the coin, I fussy cut the pocket watch from an embossing
folder I used with gold metallic paper. I brayered black paint over the
image to make it stand out, and also swiped a black ink pad around
the edges to distress it a bit. The black matte measures 2-1/2".
For the sentiment, I used a snarky small talk sticker of Tim's.

The cards came together really easily, by using papers, stamps
and ephemera from a card kit. All that was needed was a bit
of distressing and the added brads on the last ATC.

I hope that you'll join us this month for the masculine challenge
at A Tiny Craft (ATC) challenge! For more inspiration,

A Tiny Craft ATC February Challenge

 Hello and welcome friends!
The team at A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge had a lovely
holiday season and now it's time for the
challenges to resume! This month,
the theme is NBUS: never before used stuff!
(Thank you, Darnell, for allowing us to
use your moniker! It's all out of LOVE!)
Simply use those new crafty goodies, and/or perhaps
use something you had in your stash, but haven't used yet.
Here's my offering:

My new stuff is the floral stamps and the paper.
I know one of the big trends right now is alcohol ink backgrounds,
but I haven't jumped on that band wagon yet.
I did the next best thing: I bought a paper pad in
a rainbow of alcohol ink backgrounds!
I ran the panels though a scripty embossing folder, then
brayered white ink over the raised parts so they
showed up a bit better. The flowers were heat embossed then painted using
a water brush and Derwent Inktense blocks. A bit of
ribbon and some of Tim's small talk stickers and these were done!

Here are some close ups:

I hope that you'll join us for our NBUS challenge
and link up your ATC cards or coins at
to see your creations!

Thanks for visiting, I hope that you have a great day!

A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge - December: Happy Holidays

 Hello and welcome!
It's time for the December challenge at
This month's theme is HAPPY HOLIDAYS.
Whatever holiday you celebrate at this time of year
is what we'd like to see!
Artist Trading Cards and Coins are both accepted.
We celebrate Christmas, so that's what I went with:

Here are some close ups:

All those fiddly die cuts! But I'm so happy with how these came out.
The background paper edges were swiped with a
Veramark inkpad, then gold heat embossed. To continue
with the gold accents, all the flower centers were Stickled in gold.

I hope that you will join us in making some holiday ATC's and
link up at A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge! Need some more eye candy?
Just check out the blogs of my teammies to see their amazing creations.
We will be taking January off but will be back on February 15th
