Hello and welcome friends!
The team at A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge had a lovely
holiday season and now it's time for the
challenges to resume! This month,
the theme is NBUS: never before used stuff!
(Thank you, Darnell, for allowing us to
use your moniker! It's all out of LOVE!)
Simply use those new crafty goodies, and/or perhaps
use something you had in your stash, but haven't used yet.
Here's my offering:
My new stuff is the floral stamps and the paper.
I know one of the big trends right now is alcohol ink backgrounds,
but I haven't jumped on that band wagon yet.
I did the next best thing: I bought a paper pad in
a rainbow of alcohol ink backgrounds!
I ran the panels though a scripty embossing folder, then
brayered white ink over the raised parts so they
showed up a bit better. The flowers were heat embossed then painted using
a water brush and Derwent Inktense blocks. A bit of
ribbon and some of Tim's small talk stickers and these were done!
Here are some close ups:
I hope that you'll join us for our NBUS challenge
and link up your ATC cards or coins at
A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge. We'd love
to see your creations!
Thanks for visiting, I hope that you have a great day!
I'd like to enter this at NBUS challenge #35

ReplyDeleteI have alcohol inks from the last time they were trendy - and I still haven't used them LMAO
These are fantastic!! the backgrounds are perfect for those florals. The embossing and white ink is super. I also have (only 3) alcohol inks from the last time too. not sure if they are a nbus or not.
ReplyDeleteI love how bold and pretty these flower ATCS are, Chris! I hope you do try the AIs sometime because it's really fun and amazing, but I also have bought AI background papers and love them, too. They certainly worked on your ATCs and I like how you embossed the papers and then highlighted the text for more interest! Love the ribbon, too! Thank you for joining me in encouraging everyone to use their NBUS and for linking up to the NBUS challenge! Hugs, Darnell
