This month, we'd like to see a gnome or gnomes on your projects.
I dug through my arsenal of stamps and found a set that
I only used once. I had only colored up one of the

You know, since it's almost that time of year!

OB1 is colored with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.
I found some star themed paper for my background.
The sentiment came with the stamp set, and I LOVE it!

And the message...?

Get your hula on!

 Hello and happy hump day!
I'm popping in quickly to share a card I made for
my sister for her birthday. She loves the beach
so I created a cute ocean scene:

Here's the inside:

Yep, I am the younger sister, and I love to remind her of it every chance I get. LOL!
I used a few NBUS stamp sets to make my scene, all from Stampendous,
(supply list is below) and colored with Spectrum Noir markers. To keep the
beach vibe going, I stenciled a tone on tone wavy stencil onto the card base.
Oh, and that hula gnome? She's on an Action Wobble!

That's all for now. We are getting some gorgeous weather here right now,
and I want to go out and enjoy it. Especially since the cicadas are pretty
much gone. LOL! Thanks for visiting, have a great day!

My guy card stash is pretty much non-existent, so I cranked

out a couple cards to help with that. Here's the other one:

20-something nephews. I was able to use up some snippets from a

paper collection to make up this card. Yay!

That's it for today. Thanks for visiting!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #172 - X is for fauX

(For an alphabet challenge, X is getting harder to figure out, so we have to get creative. LOL!)

Hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

It's my all time favorite holiday. And you would think that I'd have

can't resist a bit of snark:

Welcome snarky peeps!
It's time for the new challenge at the
I'm your hostess this month, (totally random) and this fortnight's
challenge is V for Vulgarity.
Now, if you are not up for some swear words, or if the
kids are around, you might not want to go any further.
You've been warned.

Here's my card:

As if I wouldn't use my favorite swear word for this challenge. LOL!
This was a labor of love, as the F U words are two separate stamps.
That I stamped repeatedly. A lot. Then to glam it up, I did a bit
of Frantage heat embossing around the edges.
Shiny!

I hope that you'll play along in our vulgarity challenge at the
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. There are some very diverse ways my Sisters
interpreted this challenge, so do yourself a favor and
visit them to see their amazing creations!

Jumbo Zinnia? Yes please.

Hey there and welcome!
Happy Mother's Day to all who are celebrating,
whether you have human babies or fur babies!
This crazy time has really been messing with my
creative mojo, but I did find the spark again, a bit, to
make this card yesterday:

here's the inside:

With my crack photography skillz, both the stamped background and flower do not
match the same shade of dark purple that the sentiment banner is in this
picture, but I assure you they match rather well in real life.
The flower was stamped twice, colored (well just a coating of the light purple
where it would be covered up with the next layer), fussy cut and layered together.
I've added a bit of Diamond Stickles to the centers of the stamens. Both layers
are popped up with foam squares onto the card base, then a simple sentiment
and some sequins finish the front.

That's all for now. Got to get going and get some dinner on. Sadly,
Mother's Day isn't a 'thing' in my household. Sigh. I DO have
a fur baby. That should count, I believe. Oh well. LOL!
Have a great day, whatever you do!

Heat embossing using stencils - part 2

Hey there crafty friends!
Here's another card I made using heat embossing
along with a stencil:

So much shine!

Here's the finished inside:

This is such a fun way to use your stencils in a different way.
(at least it was for me.)
Another relatively CAS card for me. But I really like how this one looks.
That's it for tonight. Gonna relax and read for a bit now.
Have a great evening and thanks for visiting!
