Hi there friends and welcome!
I'm just popping in with a reminder about this month's

I again used both theme & photo to make a mini slimline card:

I started with a light aqua patterned paper, and stamped one of the images
from Mixed Media Elements randomly in a few places, then added the
bit of sheet music paper. I stamped two of the butterfly images from
Trendy Butterflies 2, fussy cut and added tiny rhinestones to their bodies. Then I adhered
them with foam squares. The sentiment is from
A Snarky Birthday to You, and also adhered with foam squares.

There's still plenty of time to play along at
I hope that you get a chance to play along.

SHOPPING OUR STASH #437 - I Need a Cup of Coffee....

....or in my case, a cup of tea. 😄

Which happens to be the new challenge prompt at

SHOPPING OUR STASH!

Lets see your coffee or tea themed projects!

Here's what I came up with:

Over the holiday break, I did some cleaning up and re-organizing in my

a sentiment that was inked for the first time.

I hope that you find some time to join in our coffee/tea

themed challenge at Shopping Our Stash!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #172 - X is for fauX

(For an alphabet challenge, X is getting harder to figure out, so we have to get creative. LOL!)

Hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

It's my all time favorite holiday. And you would think that I'd have

made a Halloween card for the new challenge at the

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS,

but alas, no. We want to see what you create using

faux...whatever! LOL! This is what I came up with:

My faux item? It's the faux tin tile I created using this tutorial.

I may have made a couple...

This card may look elegant, but you know me,

can't resist a bit of snark:

For more fabulous faux creations, do yourself a favor and check out

what my Sistahs and our returning Queen Beverly have created for

your viewing pleasure.

Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

I think I found my mojo again...

...but it took screwing up my back to do it, apparently.
Hi there. Let me explain. Back in my 20's, I screwed up my back, and had
to go through PT to help with a pinched sciatic nerve. Since
then, every so often I'll turn or twist a certain way and, BAM!
My back is hurting again. That happened yesterday morning.
Standing and walking sucks, but sitting is tolerable, so
to my craft room I went. For the first time since
last Saturday. I decided to use some of my NBUS items
that I've been hoarding. Here's what I made:

here's the inside:

The rose stamps (NBUS) are of the layering variety. (4 inks for the flower, 3 for the leaves)
I'm still trying to figure out layering stamps. These were the best stamped
flowers I made. (I stamped 3 of each) By the time I got to the leaves, I just
used all the ones I made. LOL! (And I fussy cut them all out
since I don't have the dies yet.)

That gorgeous blue background paper is also NBUS. First time opening up
that paper collection. I drew and cut out a diamond shape, inked the edges,
and ran it through a handwriting embossing folder. The
sentiment was heat embossed in white onto some black card stock.
After I adhered everything, I remembered I had some tiny pearls (also
NBUS!) and sprinkled some around the card. Stamped the
inside sentiment and called this done!

That's it for now. To those who celebrate, I wish you a Happy
Passover and a Happy Easter!
