SHOPPING OUR STASH #351 - Mythical and Magical

Happy Tuesday and welcome!
This week, we have another fun challenge starting today at
It's all about mythical and magical creatures!
Let's see those faeries, gnomes, dragons, unicorns, etc!

 Here's my card:

and the inside:

Using another background panel I made a year, maybe two years ago.
It's really hard to see, as 1) it's very light and 2) my crack photography
skillz suck. I smooshed some inks directly onto an embossing folder,
spritzed with water, and covered it with some water color paper. You
can kind of see the pattern if you squint your eyes and look sideways at it. LOL!

Layered some die cuts, stamped (at least 6 times) with my MISTI to get
good coverage, (still had to dot here and there with a black marker to fill
in white spots. The trials and tribulations of stamping on water color paper.)
The faerie wings were winked, then I added some rhinestones
for a bit more sparkle.

I hope you find some time this week to play along at our challenge at
Shopping Our Stash! We'd love to see what you create!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a magical day!

  4. Chris, the background on this card is amazing and the beautiful layers in the soft pink frame your delicate little Fairy silhouette perfectly.
Love the beautiful sentiment on the inside.
    Awesome card my dear.

  5. Oh, I see the background! Very cool! I'm grateful that I read you Mistied that 6x... the one reason I was gonna get a stamping platform was for watercolor paper... but I think I'll save my $30 for another time! LOL! But yours looks awesome! (I am not a patient person)...

Thanks for visiting! I appreciate your comments and look forward to reading them!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
