MFW - Trendy Triangles challenge/Simon Says Stamp - Triangle challenge

Good Morning all! I was getting crafty yesterday in the ol' craft cave, and I came up with this little number for the Moxie Fab World's Trendy Triangle challenge, and the Simon Says Stamp Triangle challenge:

Here's the inside:

A pinwheel made from layers of triangles? Get Out! No Way! Yep! Way! Woo Hoo! Fun with geometric shapes! LOL! There are some really awesome entries for these challenges. I hope you get to play along too!

It's still overcast and rainy in my neck of the woods. But that's ok - that means I don't need to break out the hose to water the plants! ☺ Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Oh Crab!...PS Sparks Cool Shades/MFW Birthday Card Challenge

Holy crow! This is my third post today! I have a quick card to share for the Paper Smooches Cool Shades challenge and the Moxie Fab World's Birthday Card challenge:

the inside:

Here's the colors from the Sparks challenge:

This was pretty quick to put together. I stamped the crab (thanks Barb!) in red ink on red paper then added googly eyes. (He looks so cute!) I notched the corners of the kraft panel with decorative scissors in a scalloped design, inked the edges then embossed. Die cut the streamer, and stamped it. Adhered everything with foam squares. Finished the inside and that's all she wrote.

Ok, I'm really done for tonight! Have a great evening!

MFW- Birthday sketch challenge

To stamp or not to stamp. That is the question. Well, that's the challenge, anyway, that goes along with this sketch for the Moxie Fab World's Birthday sketch challenge:

To make a card using stamps only, or make a card that doesn't use any stamps. Me? I love a good challenge, so I did both! Here's what I came up with:

Here's the no stamp card:

and the inside

A little card stock, some patterned paper, and stickers. Woo Hoo!

Here's my stamping only card:

the inside

Sorry for the wonky picture of the inside. When I flipped it over, it just kept falling flat. Grrrrr! Anyway, I stamped 3 beer mugs, colored and fussy cut. The white panel was stamped with a diamond background stamp. I didn't ink it up good since I wanted a grungy look to it. Stamped Happy Birthday, and adhered the panel and mugs with foam squares. The inside was stamped in Versa Mark and embossed in white.

That's all I have for now. Have a great day!

MFW-Tuesday Trigger - A little romance

Good morning all! I have a card to share. Something I made that's so, vintage. So girly. So not me! LOL! This is my take on Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger: A Little Romance.

The inside:

Here's the inspiration picture:

Gorgeous, isn't it? Very Victorian and girly girly! I went shopping in my stash and came across this printed vellum from Webster's Pages. The lace was originally white, but I sponged Antique Linen distress ink on it - worked like a charm! I die cut two flowers from pink felt and cream card stock. I edged the card stock flower with rose chalk ink and glued pearls to the inside of both. The gray flower bud was cut from a sprig. The leaves were cut free hand then bent slightly for dimension. Shopping my stash again found me that cool pearl/rhinestone swirl. Score! Die cut and stamped the streamer, then adhered everything together. A bit more vellum, lace and stamping and the inside was done also!

Well, I guess it's time to get some more yard work done. We are finally getting some cooler weather. I had to put it on hold because of the Africa hot weather we've been getting. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an enjoyable day!

You Rock/MFW:Speech Bubble challenge

Good morning all! Yesterday was the first day in over a week that I've felt better and more importantly, got a decent nights sleep! Woo Hoo!! I hadn't been posting on my blog much, but I have been crafting. This is a card I made for the Moxie Fab World Speech Bubble challenge:

Here's the inside:

This was a pretty simple card to make. I embossed the bottom half of the card with a wood grain EF. On the main panel I added some washi tape and some bling (gotta have bling!) I stamped a speech bubble then with foam squares, adhered a wooden die cut speech bubble inside of it! (A speech bubble in a speech bubble? Get out!) The inside was finished to match the front.

That's it for now. If you haven't done so, why not try your hand at one of the challenges at the Moxie Fab World? You know you want to! LOL! Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you have a fabulous day!
