This fortnight, it's all about Gel Printing!
I searched through some prints I made over the years and
decided to use this blue one for a masculine birthday card:

and the inside. Forgive my hand modeling, the card didn't
want to stay flat.

Gotta love a great snarky sentiment!  LOL! I stamped the balloons
twice, once onto gray card stock, then again on a scrap of this
funky gray DP that had a nested squares design on it. By angling how
I stamped the balloon image I was able to get a different design on each balloon.
I just fussy cut the bunch and glued it onto the gray card. Cool beans!

I hope that you'll join Edna, my sisters, and our reigning Queen,
Fran, in our Gel Printing challenge! I look forward to seeing
your projects linked up at the

Hello and welcome snarky peeps! The new challenge has

started at the SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS:

N is for NO!

I'm not going to lie, this one had me stumped for a while.

But then I flipped through a Tim Holtz snarky stickers pack,

and found something to build my art journal page around:

I love how the one lady looks taken aback by what
the other lady says to her! LOL!

Lots of paint, stencils and  masks were used. Grab your
favorite beverage of choice. Here come the process pics:

Getting technique-y with stencils

Hi there crafty friends.
I want to share a card I made using a stencil and embossing powder.
I think this was the first time trying it out, and I really
like the looks of it. Here, check it out:

Oh look, shiny!

I taped around the area closest to where I was using the stencil then went to town
sponging Versamark glue into the stencil, then heat embossing in copper. Continued
the copper vibe and used matching ink for the sentiment and some rediscovered
copper glitter paper in my stash. Score!
Very CAS, for me. (You know I love my layers!)

That's it for this post. More to come, as I had some fun with this technique.
Thanks for visiting. Have a relaxing evening!
