Happy Birthday, genius!

 Hello friends and welcome!
I always seem to be behind in making birthday
cards, especially dude cards. But I
did come up with this little gem:

I had this sentiment stamp set out on my desk when it
occurred to me that I had the Einstein stamp somewhere in
my collection. A snarky card was created LOL!
I thought the tweed paper was a nice touch. 😉

I already have a brother-in-law in mind for this.
Luckily, we all share a snarky sense of humor!

AAA Birthday #71 calls for a masculine card for their
current challenge, so I am entering this over there.

That's it for now. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day and the weekend.
Thanks for visiting!

Green metallic HB

 Happy Saturday friends and welcome!
I'd like to share a card, the kind that are
really hard to photograph: using metallic paper.

I've used a green mirrored paper and die cut the leaf frame. It's backed
with a very light green cardstock. I was happy to find a snippet of stiped
paper in my stash to matte the die cut birthday greeting.

I'm playing along at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #265.
I'm using Metallic/Green/Die Cuts, but can
also use Stripes/Green/Foliage. A Two-For!

Thanks for visiting. Have a great rest of your weekend!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #260 G is for Green

Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
It's a new month and time for the new challenge at the
We'd like to see your predominantly GREEN projects.
With St. Paddy's Day approaching, this is a good time
to get your green on. But, if that's not your style,
anything green is good!
Here's my card:

I've used this image a number of times, and since it's one
of my favorite Stella digi stamps, I'm sure I'll use it again.
She's colored with Spectrum Noir markers and I've
given her wings, wand, and flower center some
Nuvo Glitter Drops for the sparkle. Her glasses also
received a coat of Nuvo clear Crystal Drops.

I used dark green card stock for the mattes, although
it looks black in the above pics. I tried to angle
the card so you can see the glittery wings and wand.
Even the paper snippet I used came pre-glittered!

I hope that you'll play along this month in our Green challenge at the

Seize the Birthday Surprise Party Guest!

 Hello crafty friends and welcome!
I'm very excited to be a surprise party guest at

The current challenge prompt is no stamping.
Check out what the design team have made and
join in the fun!

Here's my take on the challenge:

This card came together pretty quickly. Mostly because I had
the ink blended panel already made, just not used yet.
I added some interest using a die that cuts the diagonal frame.
A die cut sentiment was all it needed to finish.

If you don't feel like using the challenge prompt, as always,
anything goes is welcome too!

Thanks again to the Seize the Birthday crew for the
chance to create along with you!

Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day!

Shabby Chic birthday card

 Hello and welcome friends!
Here's a card that I made for my Mom, who's
birthday is later this week:

I combined papers from two different companies.
The woodgrain and fussy cut flowers/watering can are from
Mintay. The two teal papers are from 49th & Market.
I thought these paired rather well together.

Here's the inside:

My card is based on the current sketch challenge at
Sunday Stamps #353. Since I've used multiple papers,
but without the option to use red.

Thanks for visiting. I hope that you have a great day!

Beary Happy Birthday

 Hello and welcome crafty friends!
I'm sharing a card I made over the weekend for
a couple of challenges.

The current challenge at Just Us Girls #760 is to CASE a DT
member's project. All of them are amazing, but I kept on
returning to Bobby's adorable card. I switched out the heart
embossing folder she used for a quilted heart cover plate.
I also had the bear she used but made a birthday card instead,
my bear is holding a balloon instead of a heart.

Here is the inside:

Since I used Kraft and Red on my card, I'm also linking this

Send Wine

 Hello and welcome!
Here's a card that I had a lot of fun making:

A few months ago I received this 'send wine' die from my
snarky sister, Barbara, and put it in a safe place until I was
ready to play with it. Such a safe place that I only rediscovered it
yesterday. Anyone else have that problem?
Anyway, as soon as I found it, I wanted to use it,
and so this card was created.

I used the pink/red theme at Color Hues #103 and what do you know?
They are doing a collaboration with Inkspirational Challenge #334
so I'll add my entry there as well.

Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful rest of your day!

A little hello

 Hello and welcome!
It's been a while since I've been on here, other than
scheduled posts. My fur baby had an
eye procedure done a couple weeks ago and we've
been on monitor duty, making sure he's comfortable and that
he doesn't try rubbing his eye. He is wearing
the 'cone of shame' until his follow up on Tuesday.
It doesn't stop him from trying every so often. Sigh.
He is doing a lot better, though, so
we hope he won't have to keep wearing the
cone after Tuesday. 🤞

So, onto my post. Here's a CAS card I put together.
CAS cards are not my strength. All that white space!
I love my layers. LOL!

I stamped and colored the image, adding some
glitter glue onto that tiny heart. Once dry, I
die cut it using a square die that had stitches incorporated.

I did some creative masking to get just the 'hello' from
the whole sentiment stamp.
Along with the heart and stitches, which are my 'Pick Two' at
Time Out Challenges #281, I could say I've added a layer,
but since it's only 1-1/4" square, does it even count? LOL!
Also, Addicted to CAS #275 calls for a center focused card
so I'm entering this card there.

Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a great rest of your day.

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #259 - L is for Love

Hello and welcome, snarky friends!
It's a new month, so time for the new challenge at the
This month, we'd like to see your Valentine,
or Anti-Valentine projects!
I'm not one to celebrate it, so of course I went with
the Anti version:

The snark is subtle, but it's there! LOL!

I'm not even quite sure how that paper with the hearts came
to be living in my craft room. I'm guessing that I bought it for the back side,
which is the strip of flower paper under it. LOL!
I printed out the sentiment then added the "SS" with a pen.

I hope that you'll play along this month in our Love challenge
There's lots of inspiration from my sisters, so do check
out what they've created!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
