Good morning and welcome crafty friends!
Happy August to you, (can you believe it's August already?!).
We have a fun new challenge starting over at
Donna is your Hostess this fortnight, and she's found a
link to some free sketches from Craft With Sarah. There are four
sketches to choose from, so have fun and I hope you play along!
I've chosen to use the first sketch for my card:
I tweaked the measurements some to fit an A2 sized card,
but I followed the sketch pretty closely otherwise:
Here's the inside:
Boy did I shop my paper stash for this. Most of the papers used are
15 plus years old! The paper flowers were a score last
year at Tuesday Morning, (before they sadly went out
of business). so you know they are even older than a year.
I hope you can join us this fortnight at Shopping Our Stash,
and create a card using one of the four sketches.
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!
I'd like to enter this at Jingle Belles - Red and Green all over

Beautiful Christmas card, great take on the sketch, I love how you layered the banners with black it makes them pop.
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful version of the sketch, and a beautiful card all-round! i love that striking but soft color palette, especially (and the skinny skinny black mats so totally set the whole thing off!) ♥
ReplyDeleteLove it! And look at you getting a jump start on your Christmas cards...smarty pants!
ReplyDeleteFun papers to combine for the sketch ... and I love those poinsettias ... thanks so much for sharing your red & green with us at Jingle Belles.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card and a great use of your stash. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration. This card could have been used for many occasions not just Christmas.
