SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #115 - J is for Junk

 Hello and happy Saturday!
We are starting a new challenge today at the
J is for JUNK!
We want to see what you can create with an
upcycled/recycled item!

For my project, I used some gel prints that I made
a few months ago. I ripped them up and decoupaged them
to a shoe box I use for storing some of my stamp sets:

I used five of these prints for the sides and the bottom. These all used the same four
paints, plus stencils, bubble wrap and hand drawn squiggly lines.
(Yes, I use my treadmill as a drying rack. What ELSE am
I supposed to use it for?!)

From blah....

...to Ta-Dah!!

I hope that you play along in our Junk (a.k.a. upcycle/recycle) challenge!
We'd love to see what you create. Just link up at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
No need to go all crazy like I did. For much less crazy, but no less spectacular
ideas, do yourself a favor and visit the blogs of my Sistahs, and our new
Guest Designer Janet! You won't be disappointed!
Thanks for visiting. I hope you have a fabulous day!

  6. Hi, Chris! This is fabulous! I love the colors you used for your gelli prints! I have a couple of boxes that I use for the same purpose that could definitely benefit from some gelli print lovin'! (i just so happen to have a stack of prints that i haven't found a use for yet...) Thanks for sharing your idea!!

  7. It always warms my heart to discover I'm not the only one that doesn't buy high-end, colour coordinated storage for my supplies! I'm quite partial to lettuce containers, myself, but also inexpensive *shoe* boxes from Home Depot if necessary. But this takes recycling to the next level - beautiful!
