One Bad Ass Art Journal 2017 week 7

Hello and happy hump day peeps!
Today I'm sharing another page (or in this case, pages), completed for
my Bad Ass Art Journal class.
I completed week 7! Woo Hoo!
This week's instructor is none other than

Here are the pages I created following her tutorial:

I didn't have the weathered wood medium, but I do have crackle paste, and that's what
I used for this project. I layed it on thick in some areas, and thinner in others to
achieve different sized crackle. I just used a paint brush to apply it, and I love the
added texture that left on my pages!

I also happen to own this awesome stamp set by Tracy called Wine Time,
so of course I needed to use it. I masked the grape bunch to make it look
like they were hanging off the edge of the page. Using DecoArt Americana and Media Fluid
acrylic paints, I painted the images. Once dry, I went over the outlines using
both a small and bold F-C Artist PITT pens.
My sentiment was not my first choice. I had printed and cut out the quote,
"Wine is bottled poetry" by Robert Louis Stevenson. But when I adhered it
with matte medium, it smeared so bad! Lucky for me, I happen to
have accrued almost a dozen various stamp sets all to do with
drinking alcohol of some type, and found one large enough to cover
my oops. Crisis averted.

Here are some close ups:

So that's it for now. Thanks for visiting, and thanks to Tracy Weinzapfel
again for such a fun tutorial!
Have a great day!
