SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #88 K is for Kids

Good morning peeps and welcome!

Our new challenge at the SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS
is all about KIDS!
Whether you make a card specifically for a little one, or make something
about a child but not necessarily for one,
or just use an image of a kid on your card, we want to see it!

Here is my offering:

 and the inside:

My mojo has slowly been making a come back in my craft room.
(And it's about f%$#ing time)
I took a mixed media paper panel and sponged first with Tumbled Glass DI, then
using a brick wall stencil, sponged over randomly in Mermaid Lagoon DI. I stamped the typewriter key stamp a few times on the panel, stamping off first. The edges are sponged with Vintage Photo DI.
I spritzed some Aquamarine Glimmer Mist onto the panel also, because I could.
The gas mask girl was stamped, fussy cut, edged with Vintage Photo DI and adhered with
foam squares. I found a tiny pink flower sticker in my stash and added it to the image. I used alpha stamps for the sentiment, and drew the hashtag, cut out and
edged again in Vintage Photo DI.
A very heartfelt sentiment finishes the inside.

I hope that you can find some time to play along at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
For more ideas, do check out what my Sisters and our Guest Designer, Donna Mundinger, have created for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks for popping in!

I'd like to enter this card at:
Viva Las Vegas Stamps July challenge - I was inspired by the colors, the main image barely colored, and the hashtag stamp.

  3. OMG, Chris! I NEED that stamp! Seriously! Hate to say it, but I'm in the age range where pretty much this fits the bill for everyone I know. Hilarious card and great background. LOVE it! Thanks so much for letting me join you at the Sisterhood this week. xxD

  5. I could have used this card yesterday when we went to a 50th birthday party. I think I am going to need to make some birthday cards like that for the future. Unfortunately my friends group are slowly getting closer to 50 (as of next week I am only 4 short years away).

  6. That would be a great image for the sentiment that I used, but that's a great image all on its own. Love it.
