JUST US GIRLS #365 - Color Week

Hello there! It's color week at JUST US GIRLS! Judy is your hostess, and she's picked some gorgeous fall colors to work with: Olive, Gold, and Rust! Here is my card:

 here is the inside:

I didn't have quite the perfect color ink to use for this challenge, so I made my own! Relying heavily on my MISTI,  I first stamped the flowers in Barn Door, then again in Rusty Hinge Distress Inks. Worked better than I hoped! Some of the leaves were masked before stamping. The 'thanks' was stamped multiple times with my MISTI to get a really dark impression. I added a strip of gold glitter paper at the bottom and a smattering of gold sequins to finish my card. And yes, I totally CASEd Ardyth's card!

I can't wait to see what you come up with, with these fabulous fall colors! Just remember to link up at Just Us Girls so we can admire it! For more inspiration, check out what my teammies, and our Guest Designer, Jaydee, have created, and leave them some bloggy lovin!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great weekend!

  1. If this wasn't a CASE of Ardyth's card I was going to tell you to enter it into the Time Out challenge, Chris, because it's perfect for it. One thing I like about Distress Inks is that you can mix them and your choices came out great for the rusty flowers.

  4. Super card and just a great take on the challenge. LOVE all those pretty flowers, I'm such a fan of stamping my own background. And of course using those two colors to create a third is just genius!
