Fright Night

Hello crafty friends. I sincerely hope all of you who, like myself, live on the eastern seaboard of the United States are safe and well from the terrible effects of hurricane Matthew. Where I live, we just squeaked by getting hit. We only had a bit of rain yesterday, but today, even though the sun is starting to come out, it's very windy. Bizarre to think I was just on vacation a couple weeks ago, at the beach in North Carolina.

Ok, so onto why I'm blogging today. (a rare event) I made a card just for fun last night, and of course, the challenge I'm entering it in is about to close so, here is my card:

But wait - check this out:
(I hope this movie works, but if not, the sticker lights up and blinks
when you press the button)

Can you believe that I've had this light up sticker for at least 3 years, and it still works? And get this, the packaging said it was from 2010!!  All my paper panels were distressed and black soot Distress Ink was added around the edges. I love that background paper. It looks so 'back in the day', but if you really look closely, there are spiders mixed in the design! Awesome!

Well, I'd better get a move on. There's laundry to wash, and Halloween decorations to put up. Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a great day!

  3. I'm glad you didn't get much from Matthew. I live just outside of Orlando and it wasn't as bad as they were predicting it to be which I am very grateful for.

Your card is fun - it reminds me of old time scary movies. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
