The Color Hues Challenge #112

Hello and Happy Summer Solstice to you!
Woot Woot! I've made a card every day this week, but I'm
only just now getting around to blogging about them.
This one I made on Wednesday using
peach and cobalt:

I've owned this stamp and stencil combo from Taylored
Expressions for a while now, and I honestly can't
remember if I've ever used it before. This
may be the first time. How tragic!

In an effort to make the wings look iridescent, I covered
all of them with glitter glue,

My eyes are still cross eyed from doing it. LOL!
Another sentiment finishes the inside.

That's all for now. Thanks for visiting. Have
a wonderful weekend!

Supplies:
Stamps: Taylored Expressions - Dragonflies stamp/stencil combo, Sundry Sentiments, The Inside Scoop: Birthday

CS: Neenah; Bazzill
Accessories: MFT - stitched scalloped rectangle die; MISTI; Nuvo white blizzard Glitter Drops
Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives - tape runner & foam squares

  1. Chris, Well, if you have not used this set before it is one I believe you might reach for again very soon. You did such a great job and I love the creative direction you went with our colors. Good job capturing the shine of the dragonflies wings in your photo so we could see it too. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues, have a good weekend.

  4. I'm so happy you brought this stencil set out to use for my color challenge at CH, Chris! The fireflies alone are fabulous, but adding the sparkle adds the "wow" factor! Thank you for joining in at Color Hues!
