Hey there and hello!
It's the first challenge of the new year at
The SOS crew is feeling the Winter Blues
and that just happens to be our challenge this week.
We'd like to see either see Winter themed or predominately blue colored
projects. I managed to create a one. layer. card!
(I know, right? Don't faint!)
Here's the inside:
I hadn't planned on adding the stamped border around the edges, but
I managed (twice! this was my second attempt!) to leave a smudge. Again.
I was determined not to scrap yet another card, so I covered my
oops with the border stamp to hide it.
After I thought I finished my card, I decided to add some
Crystal Stickles randomly on the trees, because, why not?
OLC's are my kryptonite, but I managed to make this work. LOL!
Now it's your turn. We'd love to see your take on our
Winter Blues challenge at Shopping Our Stash. Looking for more inspiration?
Simply check out what my teammies created and leave some bloggy
lovin' while visiting!
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteVery elegant card, Chris. I know what you mean about one layer cards and smudges - we become quite expert and adept at covering them up, don't we? It's almost as though the smudge never happened!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this card and joining us at the ABC Christmas Challenge. Lynda :)
Your dark blue silhouette scene is really beautiful Chris! I think the border stamping is very cool and gives the card a bit of a frosty looking edge. Always good when you can save a card! Thanks for sharing wtih us at CAS Christmas!
