SHOPPING OUR STASH #358 - Summer Color Pallet

Hello friends and welcome!
Today starts a new challenge at
Yours truly is hosting, and I've picked
a Summer Color Pallet for you to design with:

Here's what I came up with:

I thought the colors would work for a male themed birthday card.
For some reason, the dark blue seemed much darker when
viewed from my laptop (which is in my craft room) than on the PC.
Oh well. I also found that striped paper that had the orange/rust colors
already on it. Bonus!

Ready to play along? Of course you are! Be sure to link up your
project at Shopping Our Stash so we can admire it! For even more
ideas, simply visit the blogs of my teammies to see what they created!
Thanks for visiting!

(Yes, this is a crappy picture of us. I took off my hat and look, hat head! LOL!
If you've ever been to Arches NP, you'll know that it is a HIKE to get to this arch.
It's sooooo worth it though!)

I'd like to enter this at Sunday Stamps #180

  1. Great use of the colour palette fabulous use of the sketch, fab. male card.

  2. You make color challenges look easy! Great job!

  3. such an awesome card and MEGA BONUS points for having a photo that looks almost exactly like the image from the palette, lol! :) :) :)

  4. Your grabbed all the colors and I love the texture on your project. I almost missed the swiss dots on your base card
stock...very subtle but a very nice element for this design! Great job, cheers to you!

  5. Fun papers, and a perfect summer sentiment, especially after that hike, lol. I love all the dots, too - they're my fave! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!

  6. Oh, love this card, nothing better than a cold beer on a hot Summer day, this are a couple of sweet little, foamy mugs.
And yes, we've been to the Arches National Park with our granchildren and it's one heck of a hike, you must be careful though, there are some trails that have a bit of a dangerous drop, it was a bit nerve wracking to walk with the kiddos, but oh!!! so totally worth it!!!
The picture is not crappy at all, it's fabulous, hat head and all!!

  7. A great masculine card. I love how you outset the beer mugs to the side. Thanks so much for joining the challenge at Sunday Stamps! Cheers!
