Hello and welcome snarky peeps!
First off, I want to say that Sister Lynne has made the difficult decision to step down from
the Sisterhood in order to concentrate on her art career. We wish you all the best and will miss you Lynne,
but you know you are welcome back whenever you want. I will still stalk your blog!
Secondly, that being said, we wish to welcome
to the Sisterhood! Woo Hoo! Toni has been a regular player in
our challenges and we are thrilled to have her on board!
You'll be seeing her amazing creations starting in March!

We have a fun challenge starting today at the
T is for Tissue!
That's right, we challenge you to use tissue paper in some way
on your project. You can also use a paper napkin for your
tissue element, as I've done here:

I've had these cocktail napkins for years, and I only just took off the packaging
to make this card. But it gave me the idea for this card I made for our
snarky card swap 4 years ago!

I first separated the design part from the other layer, and adhered it
to some card stock. I carefully brushed clear gesso over that and let it dry.
I used my finger to smudge black ink around the edges, matted it onto some
black card stock, and used foam squares to adhere to my card base.

I had so much fun with using napkins that I made 4 more cards using
one napkin! I had another package of pretty cocktail napkins and decided to
quarter it and make four more cards:

OK, so now it's your turn to use tissue (or a paper napkin) in some way
on your project and link up at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
We'd love to see what you come up with. For more ideas, just check out what
my Sisters and our newest Guest Designer, Karola, have created to inspire you!
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great day!

  1. What a great collection of cards - I can see I'm going to have to start hovering in the "party supplies" aisles in search of stash

  2. Fabulous cards, I collect napkins with this technique in mind and now I have a hoard and never tried it. You have given me inspiration to try it. thanks muchly.

  3. Great cards - never thought of using napkins! Jo x

  4. Don't you just love what you can do with napkins. Fabulous array of lovelies here Chris. Love the first one (laughing here). I think I just NEED to get mine out AGAIN and play.

  5. Like Barb, I've meant to try this, yet never have. And I have the perfect cocktail napkins for a snarky card or two! And look at you go, with FIVE cards! All of them fab!

  6. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh fab use of those napkins!!
I am now thinking of using some of my Canada themed napkins on cards - awesome idea sistah!

  7. I love those drink napkins, they are so fun. I do love the other cards.

  8. Cracking up over here! My dear Sistah ♥

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
