SHOPPING OUR STASH #343 - Stencils

Hello crafty friends and welcome!
Time for a new challenge at

Speaking of new, check out our new banner and side bar
badge that the uber talented Lauren created!
You are da bomb!!

This week's challenge is super easy: dust off those neglected
stencils you've been hoarding and create something with them!
Here's may card:

 Here's the inside:
I bought this stencil sometime last year and, of course,
never used it until now. I applied embossing paste over it and once dry
carefully tapped my VersaMark ink pad over the raised design and
heat embossed in gold EP. I did have to retrace a few spots with the
VersaMark pen and repeat but it turned out pretty awesome IMHO.

 Ooh! Shiny!

I thought the snarky sentiment went so well for a birthday card because
aging = C.R.S. (Can't Remember Sh*t)
(Well, at least it does for me. *wink*)

We hope to see your fabulous projects in our gallery this
week at Shopping Our Stash! For more inspiration do check
out what my teammies created to wow you!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a great day!

  1. Great sentiment and yes I agree with it! Love how you did the embossing on that fabulous stencil. I have used gold embossing paste before but love the effect with the way you used embossing powder over the paste. Fun card, great image and fabulous background. Thank you for the inspiration and love the new banner and side bar over at the challenge x

  6. Love that stencil, and interesting way you heat embossed on the embossing paste. Ha! I now see clearly that, yes, we did use the EXACT. SAME. COLORS. And I just saw that Donna used Dylusions as well!!! Figures! Anyway, super cute card-- love the colors with that goofy guy!

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
