SHOPPING OUR STASH #327 - Halloween!

Hello friends and welcome back!
in honor of today being my most favorite holiday of the year,
we want to see your Halloween creations!
(Plus you now will have a head start for next year! Bonus!)
Here's the card I made:

 and the inside:

This card makes me so happy, as I went back to my love of lots of layers. I was stalking
Pinterest, and found this card by Ginny Nemchak, and knew at once I was
going to case it into a Halloween card. Thank you for the inspiration Ginny!
I found some awesome stash that I forgot I had as I was going through my
Halloween stuff: those spiderweb photo corners, the Petaloo flowers,
and those green felt flourishes.
This is a fairly large card 5" x 7", because the image I used for the main panel is 3" x 4".
Now all I have to do is make an envelope that has some depth to it so I can
mail it out to a lucky family member next year. LOL!

Still have the itch to make more Halloween cards or projects? Well then,
simply link them up at Shopping Our Stash so we can admire your work!
Need more ideas? Then do yourself a favor and check out what my
teammies created for your viewing pleasure, and leave them
some bloggy lovin!
Thanks for visiting!

  1. Oh Chris, the family member (or friend, wink, wink) who receives this gorgeous card will be indeed a lucky gal, WOW!! All the details are so beautifully placed around this fabulously spooky image, the darkness at the end of that hallway is not very inviting, I hope this little girl doesn't go and investigate what's down there.
    Fabulous card Teammie.

  2. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh how i love, love, LOVE THIS missus! (i, too, have been known to enjoy a layer or two...) :) :) :) and i really like the inspo card, but you've taken that concept and just totally made it your own! i especially love those BLACK petaloo velvetty flowers and the sentiment inside, which is the perfect amount of adornment on a font, imo! so completely AWESOME! happy halloween! ♥♥♥

  3. Love the layers and the vintage image!
And of course the orange and black together - perfectly Halloweenie!!
    Fab job sistah!!

  4. Layers are scary!!! ;) But this is beautiful! You do the layers, I'll do the CAS, k?

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
