JUST US GIRLS #369 - Trend Week

Hello crafty friends! This week at JUST US GIRLS, Bobby is your hostess, and she's picked METALLICS as your prompt for Trend Week! Here's my take on the challenge:

 here is the inside:

I started by stamping and heat embossing the holly leaves in green EP, coloring and die cutting them. Next I stamped the fa la la and heat set it in gold EP. Adhered the sequin trim, and popped the panel onto my card base. I used a few of the sequins to act as berries for the holly, then adhered it over the sequins with foam squares.

Now it's your turn. Break out that embossing powder, the sequins, those metal embellishments, etc. and make something! Be sure to link up your project at Just Us Girls so we can admire it! For even more inspiration, check out what the Design Team and our Guest Designer, Cecile have created and leave some bloggy lovin!

Remember that if you are chosen as Chic of the Week for any of our November challenges, you'll be in the running to be our Guest Designer for the month of January! Have fun and thanks for visiting!

  3. I love your holly with sequin berries, Chris. I also love that string of sequins. I have one in white but am afraid to use it on a card.

  6. Wow! I am so impressed at the sentiment embossing! I would have thought that was waaaay too little to heat emboss so crisply. Nicely done and such a pretty card.
