SHOPPING OUR STASH #18 - Gettin' Inky

So, if you read my last SHOPPING OUR STASH post, you know that I had some major computer problems (obviously, they have been solved). So, it is now Sunday night (Superbowl Sunday is about to start), and I'm blogging. Cuz I want to make sure this is scheduled on time. Yay me!

Our new challenge is to USE YOUR OLDEST INK! I had a bit of a melt down with this challenge, as my oldest inks are Memento - Tuxedo Black and Lady Bug. Luckily, Valentine's Day is coming up, so I managed to come up with this little beauty:

 and the inside:

It's hard to tell, but that fancy frame was first stamped with VersaMark, then Tuxedo Black before stamping on the white panel. I heat embossed it with clear EP. The glasses were die cut three times and adhered together for a bit of dimension. I added Diamond Stickles and some rhinestones from my stash to them for a little sparkle. (Gotta have some sparkle!) The Lady Bug ink comes into play on the inside.

So, time to break out those ancient inks and use them! Just remember to link up at Shopping Our Stash so we can see what you did! When there, please check out what my teammies dreamed up to enchant and inspire you! Thanks for hanging out, and I hope that you have a fantabulous day!

  4. Love this! Valentines, with a side of snark, how perfect. ;) And I'm so glad you didn't let the fact that your oldest ink wasn't a pigment ink stop you from embossing!
