Shopping Our Stash #133 - Use something new

Good Morning and Happy New Year my friends! Today marks the beginning of my new term with the Shopping Our Stash crew! I'm so excited to have been invited to be on this design team! Since it's the start of a new year, our first challenge is about using something new on your project! Perhaps you received some crafty goodness from Santa - now is your chance to stop admiring and petting the pretty packages and actually USE what's inside! LOL!  Here's what I came up with:

the finished inside:

My new supplies (new to me, at least ☺) are the stamps and the bling. I covered the card base with some DP from my stash. I took some white card stock and stamped the word bubble repeatedly in gray and once in purple then added the additional sentiment. I lined both sides with the bling strips and adhered the panel with foam squares. It still needed something to me, so I stamped another word bubble in purple, fussy cut and adhered it over the original one with more foam squares. Me likey much better! LOL! A bit more DP and another sentiment on the inside, some corner rounding, and I was done.

I hope you get the chance to play along this week at Shopping Our Stash and use some of the new goodies you have! Please be sure to also stop by my teammates blogs to see what crafty deliciousness they came up with!

Thanks for dropping in, now go forth and get your craft on!

Chris

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
