For you...

Hi peeps! TGIF! I want to share a card I made for Color Throwdown #274:

Here's the inside of my card:

based on these colors:

Went with a CAS design this time around, and I used schtuff from my stash! woo hoo! I die cut the feathers from scraps of blue DP. I finally used some burlap on a card. (Yeah, I seem to take my time using things that are 'on trend'. I realized that I don't have to have the 'newest thing' to be happy with my paper crafting. It's less stressful that way. ☺) It was die cut using a deckled rectangle nestie to give it an uneven edge. (It cut like buttah!) Some floss, a brad, and a simple sentiment finished it off.

Hey, look at that. I used some Paper Smooches stamps, so I'll throw my hat into the ring that is the current Sparks Challenge - anything goes.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you have a crafty day today! Enjoy!

Chris

  12. I always take my time buying the trendy thing, and by the time I'm ready to use it, it's past trendy. Meh. I think it's the panache with which we use the thing that makes it trendy. Wow, what a sentence. *koff*
I LOVE this - so much texture! and those feathers!
