Sunflowers and Sunshine.../SOS#109 & TMS#206

Happy Sunday morning to you all! I hope that you've been enjoying your weekend so far! I have a card to share that I made for both the Shopping Our Stash #109 (Summer theme or summer colors) and Tuesday Morning Sketches #206 challenges:

The inside:

Here are the sketches you could pick from. I used the bottom right sketch for my card.

I chose to use sunflowers as my summer theme. I broke out a stamp set that I've had for over a year but never inked it before now. Yeah, I know, it's sad. And I have many more that haven't been inked either. I've vowed to start using instead of hoarding them! LOL! I stamped the image on water color paper, and again on patterned paper. I did something new: I colored patterned paper. Not something that I'd recommend as the ink and blending sticks tend to make the paper pill. I had to tweeze the itty bitty strings off. After coloring, I fussy cut the dress from the patterned paper and glued to the other image. I embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder, then added the rhinestones. Finished the inside and I was done!

That's it for now. I hope you enjoy your day today and thanks for stopping by!

Chris

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
