Drunken Stampers #117: The Sound of Music

Good morning and happy Saturday to you! It's time again to play along with the Drunken Stampers challenge #117: The Sound of Music.

This term is all about the movies. You can either make a card based on the movie title, or use the sub-title. (Music or instruments) You can even go ca-razy and do BOTH! It's totally up to you! This week is Team Midnight Margaritas turn to play. Here's what I came up with:

Here is the inside:

So my idea was to make a sort of checklist of the song lyrics. I think I may have pulled that off! To go along with said list, I stamped, colored, and fussy cut all images. (Except the kettle, which I printed out using clip-art, since I didn't have a kettle stamp.) It may be hard to see, but I even used Glossy Accents on the rose to give it 'raindrops'! So on the inside of the card, I was getting ready to head downstairs where the printer is. I was looking for a piece of patterned paper to use to print on when I saw what I needed. Already on paper. All prettied up! Bonus! I just cut it to the size I wanted, distressed and inked the edges to mimic what I did on the front, and adhered. BOOM! DONE!

Thanks for stopping by today! So what are you waiting for? Come on over and play along with us at the Drunken Stampers challenge #117: The Sound of Music! Who knows, you may even be deemed "The Life Of The Party"!!! Now wouldn't THAT be awesome! LOL! Don't forget to check out what the other Midnight Margaritas created! Have a fantabulous day!

    1. LOL! If you have a 'bright copper kettle' stamp, then please enlighten me as to who the manufacturer is so that I can remedy this! ☺
