Happy Birthday.../FMS#100

I love to color. It's therapy for me. Anyone else feel like that? ☺ I won this image from Bugaboo Stamps a while back and thought it was high time I inked her up. I'm trying to get the hang of coloring with alcohol markers. They react differently than my Marvy Uchida water based markers. This is a hybrid of both Marvy Uchida (water based, hair) and Spectrum Noir (alcohol, everything else) markers. I just started accruing the SN markers, but I only have a few sets. (I don't have the browns yet!) I made this card based on Freshly Made Sketch #100:

Here is the inside:

Did you know Freshly Made Sketches is celebrating their 100th sketch? Yep, and there are prizes to be had! But as usual, I'm waiting until the last minute to get my card entered! LOL!

You still have time to play - it ends today at noon PST. Hope I see your card there! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

  1. OMGosh, no........coloring is scary to me!! ;)I have no talent with the coloring whatsoever! But wow, you did a fabulous job here. She is fabulous, and I love your take on that sketch. I like the unique die cut shapes you used in place of the block panels of the sketch. :)

  2. I agree with Audrey-- I do not like to color! I can't figure it out (probably because I never really took lessons!)!!

I love what you've done though-- this is soooooo cute! LOVE the fun papers with this super cute image! I wish I could eat that many cupcakes and still look super cute:) FUN take on this sketch! Great inside too! FUN x1000000:)

  3. Colouring is scary. Once I'm DOING it I seem to be OK, and I try not to think too hard. (That probably shows, lol). The alcohol markers are INSANE and you will shortly convince yourself that thousands of dollars worth of markers is a reasonable investment. Ahem.
I love the way you did her hair - and that image is just, well, I hope she's headed to my house with those cupcakes.

adding pinterest script 3. Changing the Position of the Pin it! button The cool thing about this code is that you have some freedom over where the Pinterest button for Blogger will go over the image. Take a look at the code that you just copied and pasted into the HTML for the word 'center'.
