SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #149 - Y is for Yummy

Good morning and welcome snarky peeps!
It's time again for the new challenge at the
Y is for Yummy!
I hope that those who celebrated had a very happy Thanksgiving, and those who
participated had a very successful Black Friday/Small Business Saturday haul!

Speaking of hauls, just look at all the yummy goodness orbiting Edna.
Even Chris Hemsworth made an appearance! (or is that Jason Momoa.
Either way, Edna has excellent taste in beefcake!)

So for my card, I've colored up a double decker sandwich, and just
a few french fries...

...and of course, a wee bit of snark. ☺

We hope that you'll join us this fortnight in our yummy challenge
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! We'd love to see your take on it.

SHOPPING OUR STASH #409 - So Thankful

Good morning and happy Tuesday to you.
It's time for the next challenge at
and we are looking for your thankful projects, which could be
a thank you project, or something to do with the upcoming
 Thanksgiving holiday.
I went with the latter for my card:

I was playing with the Gina K. wreath builder template again and created this
fun Autumn wreath. (Pay no attention to the fact that I stamped the
sentiment a bit off from the circle, even using my MISTI. Sigh.)
I used ink colors that corresponded with the plaid paper.

I hope that you have a chance to play along this fortnight at
Shopping Our Stash! We'd love to see your take on the
challenge in our gallery. Looking for more inspiration? Do check out
the fabulous creations that my teammies made!
Thanks for visiting. Have a great day!

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #148 - Q is for Quip

Hello and welcome!
It's time again for the next challenge at the
This time around it's Q is for Quip!
According to the dictionary, a quip is a clever or witty remark or comment.
Could this challenge BE more perfect for the Sisterhood?!! LOL!

Here's what I came up with:

...and the zinger on the inside:

When you visit the main blog, you'll notice that a few of the Sisters
used similar stamps on their cards, me among them.
Sister Donna loaded her card first. Apparently Sister Barbara had plans to
use the same stamps, so she commented that she guessed she wouldn't be
using it. Donna came back to say to go ahead and use it. I piped in saying it
would be funny if we all used the same stamps. Donna gave a big thumbs up,
so....challenge accepted! LOL!

Since I had enough paper for a second card, I made another one:

Now it's your turn to break out those witty, sarcastic sentiment stamps and
create something with them! We'd love to see what you made linked up
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers blog. For more cheeky projects,
do check out what my Sistahs, and our reigning Queen, Lauren, have made
for your viewing pleasure. You may not want to be drinking or eating
whilst reading them, just sayin!
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

STAMPlorations Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge reminder

Hello and good morning crafty friends!
Just popping in with a reminder post for the

For my card, I've used both theme and photo for my inspiration:

I love the chalkboard technique and I will occasionally make a card using it.
I stamped the In Bloom Classic Calla Lilies  in white ink onto a black
card stock panel, then colored with Prismacolor pencils. Even though
the flowers are 'round-ish', I also used the doodled circle stamp from
the Artsy Border Maker set. The sentiment is from the
Birthday Bash set, and is heat embossed in white. I gently sponged
more white ink around the edges to create the chalkboard effect.

You still have plenty of time to link up your project for this month's

SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS #147 - T is for Tea

Hello and happy Saturday to you.
Today starts the new challenge at the
SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS, and it happens to be
about my second favorite drink of choice,
T is for TEA!

As I'm wont to do, I've used a meme as my inspiration for this
art journal page:

I'm usually on the ball and take step by step pictures as my tutorial,
but I got into the painty, crakle paste, messy part and totally forgot
about taking pictures from the beginning. So, here are
a few that I remembered to take along the way:

I was thinking soft colors paired with a stencil that sort of looked
like a lace tablecloth.

I couldn't find a teacup stamp large enough for what I needed so
free clip art to the rescue! Note that I went over most of all the
gold parts on the teacup and saucer with a gold Gelly Roll pen:

To add to the 'vintage' vibe I wanted, I used crackle paste with the stencil:

The sentiment was typed and printed from my computer.
(Sometimes you just have to make your own sentiment. Instant digi stamp!)

One more look at the finished page:

I hope that you find some time to play along in our Tea challenge
at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! We'd love to see your take on it.
Need more ideas? Simply check out what my Sisters, and our
returning Queen and GD, Laura, have made for your viewing pleasure!
Thanks for hanging out. Have a great day!

STAMPlorations November Theme & Photo Prompt Challenge!

 Hello and welcome crafty friends!
It's November 1st (Where is this year going?!), and time for
As shown above in the graphic, Shery has provided this lovely
image as your inspiration, and the theme is stamps & circles.
For my card, I've used just the theme this time:

Here's the inside:

The background panel was made by sponging a couple ink colors using the
The cupcake image, from the A Snarky Birthday To You stamp set was
colored with Spectrum Noir markers, cut out in a circle die, as was the matte
behind it, and the flame was given a bit of Crystal Stickles for some sparkle.
While that dried, I added the Happy Birthday sticker from the
Just Everyday Greetings clear sticker pack to a bit of card stock, trimmed,
and adhered the cupcake and sentiment with foam squares.
I used a sentiment from the Birthday Bash set on the inside of my card.
Who doesn't love cupcakes and confetti?!! LOL!

I hope that you get a chance to play along this month at the
