Yes, that's right. The SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS challenge you to break out that hideous paper that you have hiding in the way back of your attic! It's that ugly! LOL! I (unfortunately) found the perfect example:
Here's the inside:
I even found this vile 3D flower sticker in my stash that matched. (Hey, go big or go home.) At least I was able to snark this one up. I didn't add any bling or embellishments, as I didn't want to waste them. LOL!
So now it's your turn to use that ugly paper (that you'll most likely never use and oddly never get rid of) and make something with it. Please, please, link your card or project up at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! We want to see your ugly paper put to use! Don't forget to check out what my teammies, and our newest Guest Designer - Stephanie Severin, have come up with and leave them some bloggy love! Thanks for hanging out. I hope you have a great day!
P.S. I've based my card off of CTS#135, but I can't bare to even link this up there, or anywhere.
P.P.S. I was thinking that if I had a sweater like this, I'd rock an ugly sweater party! LOL!

Ohhhhhh I love that fugly paper!!!! It's so retro and 70's and hideous...I think I had a polyester one piece pant suit as a kid that looked JUST like that!!!
ReplyDeleteI also love that you didn't want to waste any embellishments on the card...by the way...the card is snarky perfection just as it is!
I think we had a couch similar to that paper. LOL I get what you are saying..I have even thrown mine out already. LOL
ReplyDeleteI still have a couch with a pattern like that. I think you are the DT winner of the fugly paper this round. Awesome card though.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Pretty ugly! Just kidding... it's so very retro cool, Chris! I'm with Barb, though — you won the ugly paper crown!
ReplyDeleteHaha, well I don't mind the card, but I do appreciate your comments even more. You seriously crack me up, my friend!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I can't stop laughing after reading this post and seeing this wild & craaaaazy paper!! Wow, where on earth (or Mars) did you find that paper?? YIKES! Thank goodness there are better ones available for making cards! LOL You did your job with it so take a bow, cuz I know it tweren't easy :) There has to be a special award for you somewhere........
ReplyDeleteI'm sure back in the 60s one of my Mum's neighbours had curtains in that pattern, it's so wonderfully 60s and gloriously ugly! I'm hooting with laughter at the idea of somebody actually designing, printing and selling that paper. Erm, why did you buy it????
