Another sympathy card

It's bad enough that you need them. But to have to make one for a good friend who's just lost a beloved fur baby, those are even harder. Those types of sympathy cards especially suck. This is the card I made for her:

 a simple inside:

Rest in peace Rascal. ♥

  1. what a lovely card, yes it's not one of my favourite type of cards to make either. so hard to lose a fur baby.

  2. I just had to make one of these, too. I really like your design! CAS always seems appropriate for these somehow, I find.

  3. Your rainbow of paw prints is perfect!

  4. Love your rainbow of paw prints, so perfect for this sad occasion. Thanks for playing at CC&S.

  5. That is so very hard, indeed.....
Lovely card, Chris. I really like the rainbow of paw prints. Makes me think of the Rainbow Bridge poem. Such a beautiful poem, so very fitting for the occasion.

  6. Simple, refined, and absolutely perfect for this type of card. Spot on!

  7. I love your rainbow of footprints, and your CAS design is fabulous! How sweet of you to send a sympathy card to your friend! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at ATSM!

  8. The rainbow of paw prints is especially appropriate for the sad occasion of a furry friend crossing the Rainbow Bridge. I'm sorry you had to make this card, but I'm glad that our CC&S sketch was able to inspire you. Thanks for playing along in our challenge this week.

  9. This is just perfect for the occasion Chris...I love how you have represented the Rainbow Bridge with those paw prints...perfect! :)
