Here's the inside:
My next card is doubly sad: not only a sympathy card, but a sympathy card for the loss of a family pet. (Sympathy cards are hard to make as it is, but making one for the loss of a family pet is just gut wrenching,) I CASEd this from my Sister in crime, Lindsey. She is the Queen of CAS, as far as I'm concerned. ☺ You should check out her blog. For reals.
and the inside:
My sister's best friend's fur baby crossed over the Rainbow Bridge recently, and I wanted to let her know that she and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Well, that's all I have for now. I hope to get back to entering challenges again soon. No offense, but it feels really good to make cards not solely for my design team requirements. ;) Watch out world, here I come! LOL!
Thanks for stopping in, and I hope that you all have a great day!
Chris
I am soooo honoured, Chris! Pet sympathy cards are extra tough, aren't they? Both your cards are just right for the occasions.
ReplyDeletesympathy cards are so hard to make, but you really did a wonderful job on yours, Chris! Love the doggy card to pieces. Such an adorable pup, and I love the border of heart paw prints. Beautiful job with the floral card, too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous CAS designs. Love the sparkly touches on the flower one.

Lovely cards lady....sucks to have to make these ones, but you did it beautifully! I don't remember the last time I made a card that wasn't for a DT challenge
ReplyDeleteSympathy cards are so hard to make and you can't really make them in advance because they have to be right for the situation. Your pet sympathy card is just excellent.
ReplyDeleteThese are both just perfect - I love the lilac for a sympathy card, and stamping the heart paws in rainbow colours - rainbow bridge - man, that's just genius! Sucks that you need these but they're beautiful.
