Snarky Sisters snarky card swap

Good morning all and happy Presidents Day to my American peeps! The company my hubby works for is closed for the holiday, so he's home again today. (A five day weekend for him, because of the major dumpage of snow we got Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Although he worked from home Thursday and Friday.) And he's working from home again today. The life of a programmer. His company is sooooo lucky to have Andy working for them. Seriously, if he wasn't there to take care of any server issues they have, I swear a rip would form in the space/time continuum. And we can't be having that! LOL!

So anyway, my Sisters of Snark decided to have a snarky card swap between the group of us. This was a no holds barred kind of swap. Lynne was randomly picked to be the recipient of my card. (Ok, before you go any farther, put down your soda/coffee/alcoholic beverage and make sure your Depends are firmly strapped on)

I'll wait.....

Ready?

Ok. Meet Tess. She's at one of Gatsby's epic parties, sitting at the bar, sipping her dirty martini. As her eyes roam around the massive expanse of the mansion, looking at all the scantily clad women dancing up a storm, drinking like horses, and throwing themselves at all the willing men, she thinks to herself.....

Yep, made that story up all by myself. LOL!! But I must give credit where credit is due. I've had this stamp since last summer but this was the first time it saw ink. I had no idea how to color it. Totally stumped. So I checked out the Crafter's Companion store to see if there was a sample colored. Halleluiah! There was! So basically, I cased it. (It doesn't say who made the sample, otherwise I'd give her/his name) Also, I have cocktail napkins that have this sentiment on it, which was the inspiration of my card! LOL! (A gift from my sister! Thanks Sandy!)

Here is the inside:

To add a bit of glitz, I used Diamond Stickles on her head scarf and Glossy Accents on the martini glass.

Ok, so that's it. Just a little peek into the inner workings of my demented mind! Muahahahaha!!!

Thanks for stopping by, and stay crafty my friends!

Chris

  6. I want those napkins! I would keep them in my purse & hand them out at randomly appropriate times. You have a fabulously demented mind, and I love it :)

  7. Thank you for the warning, Chris. I did heed it. Unfortunately, thanks to you, I've discovered that I need the extra-absorbent sedentary napkins between myself and my ergopnuemonic chair!! Absolutely hysterical!! Hugs, Darnell
