JUST US GIRLS #375 - Word Week

Hello crafty peeps and welcome to our first challenge of the new year at JUST US GIRLS! It's Word Week and Ina is your hostess. Appropriately, she's picked "NEW" as your prompt. Whether that be New Year, new baby, new crafty goodies, new resolutions, etc., we want to see what you create! Here is what I came up with:

 and the inside:

I went with New Year. Ironically, everything I used on this card, except for the card base, I've had for one or more years. LOL! The sentiment and drink glasses are heat embossed. Then I added gold dots with a gold Gelly Roll pen, and also added shading around the glass bases to ground them. A bit of scrap DP and another sentiment finishes the inside. Super easy and, Oh Em Gee, another CAS card!

I hope that you find some time this week to play along with us at Just Us Girls! Since it's not only a new year, but a new month, we have a new Guest Designer! Welcome Shawna Standish! We are looking forward to seeing what you create with us! For even more inspiration, do check out what the Design Team have created, and leave them some bloggy lovin!

Just a reminder, If you win Chic of the Week for any of our January challenges, you'll be in the running to be our Guest Designer for the month of March! Good luck and happy crafting!
