Hello crafty peeps! It's time for a new challenge at SHOPPING OUR STASH - Always a Bridesmaid: we want to see dress forms or dresses on your projects! Here's what I came up with:
here's the inside:
I dug deep in my stash for this card. The paper is a couple years old, as is the dress form. That pearl flourish I've had for at least 8 years, The Sew Easy tool I won when it first came out in 2010, and the floss I've had since probably before I got married. LOL!
I hope you find some time to play along at Shopping Our Stash in our Dress form/dress challenge! For more inspiration, be sure to check out what my fabulous teammates created for your viewing pleasure and leave them some bloggy love! Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteHello Chris: I'm blown away by the gorgeous dress form and how you stitched it, WOW!! and the pearls are just the perfect detail to add to this gorgeous card, so vintage and so elegant too.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the Sew Easy tool, I must investigate this.
I love the inside too, I also thought it was another card, I started finishing the inside of my cards in January of this year as one of my New Year resolutions, this saves me a ton of time when the time comes to mail my cards, specially the Holiday cards.
This is fabulous, Chris! Love your collage!

Oooh, I LOVE your hand-stitching on this, Chris!! And what a beautiful vintage design! Love how you used the big pearl flourish. I've still got some of those in my stash, too!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I have two sets with dress form stamps, likely at least as old as your dress form. Isn't great when you can turn stash into an awesome card?
