Good morning and welcome friends! It's Color Week at JUST US GIRLS! Sue is your hostess this week, and she's picked PLUM, OLIVE and IVORY. (Neutrals are also welcome for this challenge) Here's my card:
And the inside:
If you visit the JUGS blog, you'll see that most of the creations by my teammies have flowers on them. Me? I saw these colors and thought Christmas! LOL! (I'm way behind making Christmas cards, so I'm trying to catch up some) Super simple card. Well, mostly. The rhinestones started out clear, but I used a couple Spectrum Noir markers to color them. That took the longest. LOL!
We hope that you have some time to join us for color week at Just Us Girls! Do yourself a favor and please check out what the design team and our May Guest Designer, Aileen, have created. Such incredible projects! Remember, if you are picked at Chic of the Week for any of our May challenges, you'll be in the running to be our Guest Designer for the month of July! Thanks for visiting!

ReplyDeleteSure, because purple and green are classic Christmas colours! They certainly seem to be here, because this card is gorgeous! (Funny how often the small embellishments can take the longest...)

ReplyDeleteChris, I LOVE this! That tree is gorgeous with the holiday words and you have finished it off perfectly with those pretty purple ornament balls. You definitely rocked this color challenge!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card Chris, love the plum gems. Its so funny I had to think so hard what to do with the colours we had then I look at everyone else creations and its like bells going off in the old brain....ohhh yeah, maybe I should keep a file on colours I don't usually do but could come in handy.
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought Christmas but it makes perfect sense after seeing your lovely card, Chris.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite colour for Christmas. Love it Chris. Never too early to start.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the challenge. I love how you have made this simple but elegant. Awesome that you colored the rhinestones, they are perfect on this tree. You clever girl, you!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful color combo for Christmas! I love the use of plum instead of red for a bit of a twist on the traditional color palette! Adorable tree! Love the bling you added!
