JUST US GIRLS #318 - Word Week!

Hello and good morning! It's Word Week at JUST US GIRLS. Sue is your hostess and she's picked the word STRIPES for you to create with. Here's my card:

 Here's the inside:

That die cut panel behind the poinsettia is gold foil card stock, but it's really hard to photograph. Here's another angle showing the shiny gold:

I went a bit nontraditional with my colors: a soft green striped background, coral for the poinsettia and the gold panel. I kind of like this color combo.  ☺ I used a gold brad to keep the two flower layers together and then popped it up with foam squares.

So, got striped paper or a die that makes stripes? You know you do! Why not make something with it and link up at Just Us Girls! We'd love to see what you created! While there, please check out what the design team have come up with to amaze you! Also, we have a new Guest Designer crafting with us this month: Louise Hodge! Welcome Louise! I look forward to seeing your designs with our crew!

FOR OCTOBER & NOVEMBER ONLY: If you win Chic of the Week in any of our October or November challenges, you are in the running to be chosen as one of two Guest Designers for the month of January 2016! The Team will be taking a two week break in December, and therefore, will not have a Guest Designer for December.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you in the gallery! Have a great day!
