Here's the finished inside of my card:
I started with a few different colors of distress ink, and made the background panel, adding water splotches (which to me gave this a bokeh look!) and then a light spritz with pearl Glimmer Mist.
For the overlay, I used a just purchased snowflake frame from Memory Box. I die cut it twice, from white card stock and from vellum. I carefully cut the snowflake off the card stock using an X-Acto knife, then glued the vellum frame over it, tacking them down randomly using glossy accents. Added some rhinestones and called it done!
Now it's your turn to break out that unused stash of vellum you have and make something with it. Just link it up at Just Us Girls so we can see it! While there, please check out what my talented teammies, and our August Guest Designer - Karen Bourke, have created, and leave them some bloggy love. Remember, if you are picked as Chic of the Week for any of our August challenges, you'll be in the running to be our Guest Designer for the month of October. Good luck and now go have some crafty fun! Thanks for stopping by!
